Big Powderhorn Mountain

Ski resorts in USA
Located on Michigan's Upper Peninsula, near the border with Wisconsin, Big Powderhorn Mountain is one of the more alpine ski slopes in the region.
The ski area is known for its long, continuous slopes with a smooth slope, where the focus is on continuous skiing rather than short, divided slopes. The terrain is dominated by blue and red slopes, with elements of steeper sections that provide variety and more technical skiing. The design means that each lift ride provides plenty of riding time.

The lift system consists mainly of chairlifts that provide easy access to the entire mountain. The piste preparation is consistently good and the snow supply is ensured by a combination of natural snowfall and artificial snow. Night skiing is offered in parts of the facility, which makes it possible to ski even after the end of the working day.

Big Powderhorn Mountain is especially suitable for skiers who appreciate long slopes, clear terrain and efficient skiing, in a quieter context without a strong emphasis on parks or large-scale resort environments.
