Christie Mountain

Christie Mountain is a small ski resort in northern Wisconsin that has built its reputation around accessible and straightforward skiing. The facility is located in a low but hilly forest landscape, where vertical dropen is used efficiently through several continuous slopes on varying slopes.

The skiing is clearly piste-oriented, with a mix of easier slopes and some steeper sections that provide more pressure in the turns. The terrain is open and clear, which makes it easy to keep pace and do many laps without long transports. Christie Mountain is also known for its night skiing, where well-lit slopes provide good conditions even after dark.

A detail that is often appreciated by experienced skiers is that the resort has hosted several alpine competitions over the years, which is noticeable in how some slopes are drawn with a clear competitive character. It gives a more "classic" feeling in the skiing, despite the fact that the area itself is relatively small.
