Boston Mills

Ski resorts in USA
Boston Mills is a local ski resort in northeast Ohio and together with its sister resort Brandywine, forms a continuous ski area in the Cuyahoga Valley, just minutes from Cleveland and Akron. The ski passes are shared and it is easy to ski between the two mountains, which are located opposite each other on either side of the valley.
Together, Boston Mills and Brandywine offer 19 slopes spread over 79 skiable acres. The total lift capacity is around 20,000 people per hour, with a system where the lifts are synchronized to control the flow and reduce congestion on the slopes. The drop height is 240 feet, which puts a clear mark on the skiing: short but intense runs that are well suited for many repetitions.

Boston Mills stands out with Tiger Run, which is considered Ohio's steepest piste and gives the resort a clearer sporty character than its size otherwise suggests. Night skiing is an important part of the identity and attracts many local skiers who want to spend time on snow after work. With well-developed snowmaking and efficient operation, Boston Mills serves primarily as an everyday mountain rather than a traditional ski resort.
