Snow Trails

Ski resorts in USA
Snow Trails is located just south of Mansfield, Ohio, easily accessible from both Cleveland and Columbus. The facility is located in the Possum Run Valley, one of the colder areas in the state, which provides good conditions for snowmaking and stable winter conditions.
Snow Trails is Ohio's only privately owned ski resort and offers 19 slopes with a clear emphasis on easy and intermediate skiing. One of the resort's most distinctive slopes is the Timberline Trail, which is considered Ohio's longest continuous run. The terrain is relatively compact but varied, with both open slopes and several marked forest areas.

The lift range consists of several chairlifts supplemented with conveyor belts for beginner areas and tubing. For freestyle skiers, there are several terrain parks of varying difficulty, making Snow Trails popular with local park skiers. A separate tubing area with long runs is also an important part of the facility's winter offerings.

Snow Trails operates primarily as a regional everyday facility with a focus on efficient skiing, park skiing and snow-sure operation. For Ohio skiers looking for long hours, varied piste skiing, and good access to snow, Snow Trails is one of the state's most established options.
