Brantling Ski Slopes is a classic local resort in the state of New York, located just south of Lake Ontario. The slope has been in operation since the 1960s and is clearly focused on local skiing with a focus on night skiing, training and efficient time on the slopes.
The terrain is compact with clear drop lines and several slopes that make good use of the natural slope. Brantling is particularly appreciated for its illuminated skiing, which means that large parts of the business take place after dark. The facility is often used by ski clubs, competitive skiers and training groups, but works just as well for recreational skiers who want to get many repetitive runs without long transports.
Here, skiing is less about destination and more about continuity, technique and local commitment – a typical North American home slope where the focus is on the skiing itself.
