We've been to loads of resorts but always return to Couchevel as a favourite. Outstanding quality pistes, all very well groomed and a superb fast modern lift system.

600 km of skiable areas, well linked up with some very modern and some older lift networks.Amazing views from the top of Sauliere, with some very challenging black coulouirs ont he way down. Great open greens and blues and plenty of reds too. Plus you can ski into any of the 3 valleys.

My first ski holiday despite skiing (dry slope for years), and I think I may have been spoiled. Its arguably the best resort in the world according to some sources. I would say give it a go, personally I cannot fault the resort. 1350 was a little icey on the way down thier home slope, and the resort wasnt as nice as the higher resorts, but unless you are really fussy I think the skiing will soon pacify any misgivings you may have about your acoomodation.

Good restaurantes and bars (Rockys and Space bar in 1650) can both be good with live bands and an acceptable 22 euros for a big jug of Krony at Rockys.

Visited Courchevel 1850 several times during the week 9 in 2025.

- luxury, luxury, luxury and expensive hotels with ski out and ski in,
- own airport, dangerous to land on,
- surprisingly much to do in Courchevel 1850 besides skiing, lots of shops and restaurants,
- nice village,
- world class skiing,
- 19 5-star hotels,
- only 2 h from Geneva airport,
- lifts are of older model but they worked without problems,
- infrastructure not in top condition compared to other major resorts in the Alps,
- minimal lift queues.

In summary, we are happy to return. Luxury, fantastic ski resort with world class skiing.

Do you like to spend a lot of euros on your skiing. while getting a really varied and good ski system on the purchase, Courchevel and 3 Vallees are perfect. Super-wide ski system with slopes in all the weather. However, everybody places with woods restricted with bad weather. Big spaces for the off-piste, but as in all well-known places, it is tracked flash-fast. Very good at sun skiing less well in skies.

The first time I went in Coursevel was 1968

Here have been in Courcevel for almost 10 years now and it's quite a cannon. The ski system is any size and there are slopes to suit everyone. One tip only. Buy ski passes to all three valleys. Then you can go to Val Thorens which is also very good. There are more offpist backs there and a big funpark.

It's a huge system, you can go for several weeks without having everyone back. No further offpiste. No funparks either but many nice puff pastries.
