Small nice place to spend a day in during their stay in Chamonix. No pillows when I was there but very well pisted for anyone who wants to carva !!
Do not forget to take a pizza at the plateau where most of the slopes pour down!

Courmayeur was a sad experience took a day trip by car from Chamonix. It was three days ago it had snowed but still you could get untouched scratches if you walked a bit from the top lift. Beautiful slopes to burn in. Try the pizzeria du tunnel, the best pizza I have ever eaten.

The ski area starts on a plateau that is reached by Kabinbana. Highest ridge approx. 2700 m. As a matter of fact, there is a lot of good offpiste, when I was there, it was a bad sight so we kept ourselves in the woods, which was somewhat more limited. Lovely atmosphere on the entire mountain. If you go fast you should catch up with all the lifts in one day. However, there are some nice slopes that can be tolerated many times. Italian cuisine is everywhere on the mountain, lovely. A real alpine village lies in the valley with many lovely taverns. However, Italian nightlife is something strange. Last but not least, I would like to mention the cabins that take you back to Mont Blanc, to Punta Helbronner, 3462 meters above sea level. No slopes, just offpist all the way down again.
