Ski resort has shut down
Gillersklack, or Klacken as it is so cheekily called, is a nice and affordable ski resort in central Sweden. The ski resort is located just 10 minutes north of Kopparberg and is a popular place, especially for families with children. There are good slopes for both beginners and experienced skiers. You have six different slopes to choose from and four different lifts that take you up to 400 meters altitude. The vertical drop is 120 metres and the longest run is 1,000 metres long.
If you like to ski in the evening, there are three illuminated slopes to choose from. You also have an illuminated trail for cross-country skiing, but only for three kilometers. You will also find a children's area and a nice snow park here. If you're looking for a nice place to ski with the family, you'll love Klacken. You can also find good off-piste opportunities in the forest if you want to be able to ski undisturbed between the trees.
