Måttsund
Måttsund is a nice slalom slope in Luleå municipality. There are a total of three slopes and as many ski lifts. Måttsund is a small ski resort but just right for a day's excursion for some alpine adventures. The few slopes are well-groomed and wide, and there is also a children's slope with its own lift. For those of you who live in the immediate area, it is excellent to visit Måttsund for the day, there is also ski rental and equipment.
For night skiing, you can enjoy the nice cross-country skiing track, even during the day it is nice to ski. The trail runs from the village of Måttsund out to the ski slope. Måttsund is not a ski resort you go halfway across the country to experience, but it is a nice and pleasant slope that is perfect when you really want to start the season with a good and early first run. Bring the whole family, maybe the kids can start learning to take their first runs on skis?
