Storklinten is located in Boden, about an hour from central Luleå. All types of skiers come here, from the beginner to the avid downhill skier. In total, there are 15 slopes here, all evenly distributed over different levels of difficulty. You have a total piste length of seven kilometers and a maximum vertical drop of 209 meters. There are five lifts that take you up the mountain. If you're looking for adrenaline-fuelled jumps and rails, there's a lot to find. Competitions such as Skifix Big Air and Jib Academy are also held here. The park area is something Storklinten has invested in developing in recent years and is now a popular attraction.
When you want to alternate skiing with some cross-country skiing, there are several good trails, the longest of which is 11 kilometers. Storklinten is neither the largest nor the smallest ski area in the country, but it is a very good size for a day's skiing, especially if you are traveling with the kids. There is a separate children's area where the little ones can try skiing for the first time.
