Mt. Eustis Ski Hill

Ski resorts in USA
Mt. Eustis Ski Hill is a small ski slope with deep roots in the local ski culture of northern New Hampshire. The rope lift was originally put into operation as early as 1939 and kept the business going until the 1980s, before the slope fell into hibernation for more than two decades.
In 2016, a group of committed residents of the Littleton area took the initiative to bring Mt. Eustis back to life. The ambition was clear: to create an affordable and easily accessible place for skiing and snowboarding in the White Mountains, without the costs and complexity that often characterize larger resorts.

Today, Mt. Eustis consists of a main hill supplemented by a small terrain park. The focus is on simple, straightforward skiing where beginners and local skiers can develop at their own pace. The operation is largely based on volunteers, and the facility lives on thanks to a committed volunteer group and support from a non-profit board.

Mt. Eustis is a clear example of grassroots-driven skiing – a place where community, history and the joy of skiing are at the center rather than large-scale and destination tourism.
