The nice thing about Näsfjället is that everything is based on a place. If you are a family, those who want to go cross-country skiing can go out in the track and anyone who wants to go slalom can do it. If you drive a slalom in the morning you can often drive so many height meters that you are satisfied late. After lunch, take a trip to the Lilldalsstugan, and head west. There you can navigate between the mountains on the scooter / ski trail (about 13 km) or continue south-west over the middle mountain in Norway (national border) or even on Faxfjället. If you have access to track equipment on ski runs, you can have some nice yard where there are not many skiers on a season in this terrain. There are skating routes to Idre and Sälen, so that the motorbikes can get theirs.
We often combine snowmobiles and hiking trails. A great combination!
Do not expect stand-by only. There's nothing:)
A simple restaurant, a hot tub and a nice proximity to Kalfjällen is what you get.
I'm never tired of this place and drive all the less common downhill skiing, you can do that anywhere ....

Quiet, beautiful, easy, quiet, great skiing. Perfect for families with children who do not want to be crowded among all the others in the Sälen and avoid queues and the whole commercial circus. Everything is gathered within a few meters radius - cross-country skiing, lift, heating, restaurant, pullout, parking, making it very easy. With calm and non-commerce, there are restrictions on service, food supply and it's not very modern, but the benefits are definitely considering!

Just returned from Näsfjället and are already looking forward to next year. The facility is perfect for the well-planned family with high demands on the ride (mountain environment and slalom) and low demands on extra everything. We have been there Sunday to Thursday. The mountain has a unique design, which means that the existing lift is fully sufficient to reach all slopes. Lovely and varied backs from the top for all requirements of difficulty. The green hill The sun side from the top is absolutely beautiful and beautiful for the whole family in beautiful weather. The advantage of näsfjället is many for those who have children and who are also thinking of an extra time. Here is a lift which creates a natural meeting point in the facility which makes it difficult to get away from each other. The lifter lacks stereo, which increases the sense of nature. The relatively small exploitation of the plant makes the wilderness rise / the trail becomes small for those who seriously consider their wildlife ambitions on the skiing holiday near the Fulufjäll National Park! Now we got up with renovations of the accommodations that are within walking distance to the hill where we lived in a very nice little cabin without luxury. It feels really nice that the plant is not exploited more than necessary and that's what we feel is the exclusive in it all. Our recommendation is: Go there if you dare to think "outside the box "!

If you do not let the water in the cooker hood in the cabin be rented, you have rented and there is no freezer and porcelain so that is enough, then the accommodation can work. Can you then stand out with all the interruptions in the elevator
and wait for the lift start in a sunken hot tub, so keep the skiing up and running.
If you have any questions then if you are lucky the reception is manned, though you can keep the ball, the elevator goes = staff in the shop. Broken lift = locked shop

At Näsfjället you get peace and quiet, you do not have long lift queues, it's almost like having the hill for yourself. Longitudinal trails are also available, even where there is no crowd.
At the campsite you live in your own caravan with nice neighbors, all season or just a few days.
If you do not have a caravan, there are both large and small cabins for rent.
There are also snowmobiles to rent, and many nice trails that you can go on.
The restaurant has good food and friendly staff.

Oh, where shall I start? Is here here v.5 2011 and had hoped for a great place especially for the kids (7 and 10 years). What we did not expect us to be almost alone here. But that's fine! Top service and good service, no lift queues and very good instructor in the children's ski school.
The cottage is clearly affordable (good spaces and nice camp near the hill).

The rating is based on the children's point of view when it comes to skiing. For us adults there are some black and red slopes also about a short ...

The family paradise of the family of children! We were in Näsfjället v.13 2009 and had a wonderful week. Good with snow and really nice treats on the hill and no queues. If you have children under 15, there is probably no better facility in Sweden. It was just to let go 5 years and 7 years and sit in a snow roll and sunbathing.

It was really nice pisted backs and even the crossing was beyond the expectation of the winter 2007/2008
Lung & good no queues, take care and enjoy. This is a heightening to the soul.

Näsfjället is a perfect scenic resort for families with children and others who appreciate the tranquility, the beautiful nature and good skiing in good slopes. Tired one can take a trip to Stöten 20 min away to get some more variation. Hope that it will be a new baby lift, and that the caravans and the cabins will be more. I would like to come back to the latest backs in the day, you will never experience it again. But it is up to the pesonal to take care of this gem.
