Peaceful, quiet, beautiful and tranquil – Näsfjället is a popular ski resort about 24,9 miles from Sälen, Dalarna. Näsfjället is located in the northernmost part of Sälenfjällen, just over 12,4 miles from Stöten. The area is quite small but offers nice slopes in natural snow. You have eleven slopes to choose from as well as 9,3 miles of cross-country trails. For those of you who are looking for a messy après-ski and a huge ski system, keep looking, Näsfjället is popular for just missing this. Instead, there is a caravan campsite, ski shop, restaurant and holiday village.
But if you want a little bit of everything, you can always combine your stay at Näsfjället with a couple of days in Trysil. The Norwegian mountains are only forty minutes away via road 62. Näsfjället is often overshadowed due to its proximity to larger giants such as Sälen. However, this is also what the visitors like, it is calm and quiet here and not too many people.
