Relatively small facility but very versatile. Here is everything for the beginner of all jibbers. The Circut (park) is awesome when it's up. It is spread all over the mountain, allowing you to drive lanes around several lifts to get a lot of variety. When snowing a lot, you will find lots of good offpiste tracks within the piste area. That said, very versatile facility.
The negative is that you have to show the lift card every time you take a lift and half of the lifts go quite slowly, but they are worth it.
Not as smocked as other ski resorts around Lake Tahoe on weekends. In addition, it is possible to buy a vertical plus card, which means that you get an entrance to the elevator and pass by everyone else. Free ski buses run several times daily from South Lake Tahoe. Should you go in Sierra it is in South Lake Tahoe you want to live. There are varied nightlife, very different accommodation and 4-5 casinos. Recommended!
