Skiing in the beginning of june is always gonna be special and for that reason alone the trip is worth it. The resort has only 2 lifts and the pistes are nothing to write home about but the backcountry possibilities are huge. I was there when the sky was blue and sun was shining (as was my sunburnt head and nose after a day in the sun) and it was truely superb. The snow isn't great to ski on (very slushy) so you have to chose the steep slopes.

We camped down on a beach about 1 1/2 hours drive away which meant that the day started with a dip in the ocean. The road up to the center is great and very beautiful with snow walls 3-4 meters high (I'm not lying I've got the photos to prove it).

In summary, it's a place everyone who loves skiing and "the big outdoors" should go to!

Where was the opening weekend of 2019 as said one day closed and fog the other days but you do not go to Stryn to go powder but to be there with like minded. A wonderful nature wonderful people but don't forget hides to access really good rides

During my upbringing I spent every midsummer in Stryn. Absolutely the best way to celebrate Midsummer

In Stryn you can experience the feeling of beautiful skiing in shorts with a little buttery sneezing nesting on the knees that then ends at the lily station with a cold dip in the mountainside. Ice-cold, but clearly unique! A small system that offers happy Norwegian lift hosts, incredible views and opportunities to find off-duty liftbows in June. An all-day excursion is enough for those who just want to try simple pistachio in the summer, but if you spend hours in the park or want to go outside the system, you'll probably enjoy yourself for a long time.

We went there as a much needed, but unplanned, break from a half-timber summer job in the Norwegian countryside. We had no equipment with but rented all ski related on site. Clothes were worse, and maybe we were just a little upset for just SUMMER skiing. The first ride up in the chairlift, we sat down in our shorts and t-shirts and realized that (of course) it is cold at high altitudes even in the summer. Luckily, the sun looked up when we were on top and we could enjoy a whole day without freezing.

Just as bad as not wearing clothes properly, do not drown in sunscreen. When the sun lay on all day, high altitude and reflective snow we looked like crayfish everybody when we sat in the car on our way home. But at least we were happy! Next time we will take proper equipment and seek us outside the lift system.

Awesome summer skiing with a really good park.

Positive: The park, the cold at the cold temperature and the fog.

negative: when it gets too hot it will be quite easy to stop!

Summary: Clearly the best summer skiing in Scandinavia according to me.

pulled up a bit late with a mate when it had melted so the park was closed but they had a jump and a box.

 + Folven camping had a skate park
 + the box was so nice
 + the jump was nice
 + warm and nice but still cool
 
 - Easy to go by car and caravan from Jämtland
 - quite expensive
 - The campground looked like a ghetto
 - sometimes it was sunny and sometimes dense fog
 The chairlift was so damn good!

Stryn is really lovely to go to. the ski slopes are nice to slip in, but on top it can be really cold. There were quite a lot of rock / mountains that were on the hill. should you go there to stay at the campsite. they are very good at there.

It might not be the best place to go to when you have only been skiing slalom skiing once before.

I would probably appreciate the place better today than I did then.

But it's an experience to go skiing in the summer!

Jadu, it's really nice to go in the middle of the summer with sun and heavy snow, if you're planning on skiing, that's the wrong place.
But the park was nice and offpiste with.
