I was in Stryn 2 years ago. Me and some friends rented a bus to go there when the ski season was the highest for spending a week there. First then there was a storm and then it was said. But the rest of the week there were sun and many brides in the village. To summarize, I can say that with three things: Sun, Nice Norwegian, good ride. My best skiing memory.

There were hell and weather in the piste - just as we want it in AEMO! (though a little half-light snow and too little hope - a jump was fat)

Has been there for a week, 3 years in a row and it will be defenitively a fourth time season 2001. The weather can change very quickly, but on a sunny day, Stryn almost hits everything. The council is slanting far away from the slopes. There are huge areas seen from the lifts and easy to get to. The back is also among the funniest I went. Brant and narrow with the road straight below. Another plus is the incredible environment. Worth a visit just for it! This year this man found the sun when there was rain and debris in Sweden. 5-10 degrees hot on top, 26 degrees in the valley. Note was the only day. Even the only place I experienced was sneaking in July. Certainly heavy like concrete but still. The season is from the road being advanced to August. At best, however, is the end of May end of June.

But best of all is to see all German and Japanese tourists who are disappointed when they get to the parking lot just to find out that you do not see anything. They would only know that the sun is on top (sometimes).

The first week of June we spent in Stryn. The first few days were the sad weather, even closed one day because it was snowing! too much!. It was good for the last days. Pillows in June! nothing that I've been to before. Wonderfully. Geiranger is worth a visit if there is bad weather, on the way down to Geiranger, you can take a scratch down the mountain, only if you have a nice mate waiting for the car down there.

I was there during an afternoon. Unfortunately, it was fog all the way from the valley station to the end of the chairlift. How much snow it was. The skiing was very good for being in the middle of summer and the range of jumps and pipes was not bad at all.

The gun midsummer sad with the weather only for eight days it was 5-3 3 sunny. But but. The Norwegians should look over their lift queues and drive like in Sweden with the snake, so not everyone is in a lump ow! But it's really worth a visit !! :-)

What do you say? World class! Have a better summer vacation! Have been there the last two summers and stick there again this year. Users bring the bike and pull a few scratches on the serpentine roads down the hill, it's fast! Cruel snow and big bigpsps! Absolutely impossible to settle in the soft snow (almost anyway) Hope we will see you this summer!

Not so far ??? Stavanger is just an approx. 12-15 HOURS (!!!!!) Long drive from Stryn! But you're right Magnus, Stryn is a freak and there are surf spots around Stavanger as well.

Could you have a better summer vacation, here is all I need. You can hesitate .... (ha ha ha hawaii) hawaii puppy cruising braaaaaaant slask pulverschnee flat light sun sunny blue sky tops unspoilt huge expanses unforgettable ride mr.
On Strynefjellet everything can happen in one day. Apres skin is best done on Einetappen, the folly's own little inn, awesome good with cruel music, Black sabbath rules!
Sk8a climb play volleyball sleep drink cowboy doll, or much cowboy drink and beer and beer and beer at incredibly bad weather. Stryn is awesome for the right target group, ie serious skiers, and please "You are super and never go to sleep", do not come here, then Peer Gynt comes and takes you to raevaa!

p.s tips: not so bad at the beach is Stavanger, where there are rumors of really good surf spots d.s

Week 27 drew Tidaholmsgänget to Stryn for the 3rd consecutive year and it proved to be the hottest week so far. Plenty of snow at the beginning of the week and wonderful weather all the time (almost).
The snow is something out of the ordinary, few places can compete it out. The negative, however, are the filthy high prices of the food and the fairly high price of the new Keycard which squeezes the rating a little. Otherwise, Stryn is a terribly nice place, and when you see the telescopes kissing fat in the big jumpet you shake the whole body. Go big !!!!!
