Teknikbacken, Hallstahammar

At the exercise centre in the Duvhällarna area, Gråstensvägen 2, Hallstahammar, there is Teknikbacken – a child- and family-friendly ski slope with a tow lift and a slope of about 250 metres. The operation of the slope is a collaboration between Hallstahammar Municipality and the Swedish Outdoor Association, where the municipality owns the facility, and the maintenance is managed by volunteers. They have access to snow cannon and piste machine and keep Teknikbacken open as much as the weather allows. Visitors have the opportunity to barbecue adjacent to the slope.
