For over 3 hours we have been trying to get through to Vemdalen customer service being connected back and forth once I arrive in Vemdalen we are clicked off the call !!! We have called for them to come and sand up on our hill to the house as 3 cars have been stuck nothing has been and helped! Will never go with SkiStar again!!! Then we will not talk about our accommodation my daughter got the roof shower in her head when she showered, the front door cannot be closed draws cold in, the refrigerator door will soon fall off, got a tag for the sauna door that does not work, and the sofa has dog pee (territory) on the entire edges and lots of other things that my husband has had to fix as best he can. This house is built in 2021 and is located in vamdalsskalet Myrbärsstigen 41 b

Thank you for us SkiStar will never book with you again !!!

Poor posting, long queues. Skistar has really focused on the wrong things. The lift system is severely undersized and unfortunately the quality of the grooming is also low.

Half the slopes are just ice, parking costs around SEK 100, lift ticket 700 per person and lunch 250. Expensive ski day on icy slopes, should be half the price of lift tickets when there is only ice on the slopes. And charging parking fees on top of this is just so stomach-churning.

We booked an accommodation with WI-FI and when we get to the room we have no WI-FI. When we call the number on the booking form to make a fault report, we get a very repulsive and unpleasant answer. They were supposed to send someone "immediately" but still (then after 3 days) no one has arrived!!! Not only that, but be prepared that the lifts very often have "technical faults" and then that there will be a very long queue for the only chair lift that doesn't have anything "faulty" about it! It is very unclear where and who you can ask for help with things and they take in far too many people as it contributes to long queues and full restaurants! Nothing I would recommend booking in the first place (especially not for families with children due to queues!) ! Thanks!

Often icy, short slopes. In case of wind, impossible to move in the system. Good with many chairlifts, but sensitive in those situations. No off-piste to speak of.

One of Sweden's best ski resorts, however, there are usually a lot of people and the slopes get used up quickly. Otherwise, there are many slopes for all levels of skiers. They have a very good lift system with many chairlifts to the peaks and a chairlift with wind protection. There is also a very nice view of the mountains if the weather is clear. The drop height something one would have hoped for was a little more but it is still capable. There are also not particularly large opportunities for off-piste as most of the mountains are groomed.

A very good ski resort for families but also couples/friends/conference groups who want something light, flexible and accessible. Close to Sonfjället and the trail systems towards Helags. There is as much service as possible around Vemdalen, and really good restaurants. Each of the areas has its own charm. Notice that Skistar and the region also invest in summer activities! :)

Ok variation on the slopes. Comfortable chairlifts.

Efficient, connectable lifts guarantee broken slopes.
Is there even an off-piste (seems to be the blast everywhere)?

It is built everywhere. In some kind of usa inspired ski resort style.
The whole place breathes "buy-high-mortgaged-condominium-with-ski-in / out".

If you like Skistar's mass tourism, you have come to the right place
