I have been there several seasons now and Easter 2004 was absolutely the best! In most cases it's usually sloppy, warm and radiant sun. Now it was raining sun but -5 degrees and all week and sneeze every day! even the big puckers down to the tortine were clenched with knees to the middle of the pudding snow !!! it was absolutely amazing!

Verbier is in my eyes the sum of what you want out of
a ski resort. It is a nice town with a good size (not
like the French, including Charmonix where you can go,
bus, car and walk constantly). Restaurant and entertainment provides
I expect that as often as in Switzerland
is not state of the art, but the quality is always there!

A truly nice ski resort with high standards of lifts and maintenance !!! Maybe that's why it's not the cheapest "alphaket" iofs .... Had a bad luck when I was there and managed to dug into a fat fog that made the sight relatively poor. Fortunately, it also snowed significantly, which made us find some really nice sneakers prone to the bad sight. I was only there one day, on a temporary visit from Chamonix where I seasoned 04. Would like to go back and explore the resort in better weather and test offpiste opportunities a little more. It was not a position for it when the sight was so bad .....

I have been to Verbier four times and it belongs to the exceptions when I went to the Alps for thirty years and seen most but rarely visited the same place more than once. Always the same week (9) in Verbier and it has usually been good weather with very varied skiing. All the time there have been pillows that you can not get too much of. If you want long and at the same time very steep black pistes you can go to another place that I do not know where it is located. There is a piste for all tastes only one knows where to find it in the four valleys. Off piste there is just how much you want to climb and exert a little effort. It's worth it here. The powder has never exhausted me.
When I cooked my own food and only used the pub for "ready-made" liquid food, it is not more expensive here than any other punch in the Alps.

Get a cool job and make sure you get a work permit. Then it's just jumping into the game ... With the work permit it's possible to make the whole stay a bit cheaper and often you get a good job at work.
As for the ride, I can only ask myself the person who said there was little competition for the powder. To get a first ride in the snow, apply: first in the lift queue. There is nothing else and yet it can be difficult to find untrained. Then it's a little bit about where to look for. The village is nice and as a seasoning you get a good idea of ​​what works and does not work. Aftershine on the pub is nice and then if you want to clear you can go to the farinet, always live bands (take in the weeks when yellowmike plays ...)
   

Verbier which place absolutely wonderful..Yes there the first week of February and absolutely wonderful weather all week.
And after reading other people's reviews, they were not much that sued ..

Is not a supergrym skier but thought Verbier was clockwise all the way.
There were many skyssta offpiste tracks and of course tortin is a really lovely backe.
Large system with many choices and taking you to 4 valleys, it's how much backs you want.
The nightlife is also not wrong, at the pub it is always fun and you want to try something different, and there are some coolest clubs.
Received a lot of help from Nico and Janne at the Verbier Hospitality Service (VHS), recommend talking to them if you need a job.

Have been in verbier now for the fifth week, I still do not understand the place. Nice city but ngn further skiing if you are not there with little sisters do not exist. I have traveled with people who have been there for several seasons but they can only take me half a good ride ... Go to Chamonix where there are real mountains and cruising .

Must admit that if you just want to enjoy skiing, it's a perfect match.

Visited Verbier in spring, in April, and then it was not the best ski resort right away. The tussilagon flowered outside the slopes lower down, but higher up the ridge conditions were somewhat, and good just up the glacier.
In short, verbier is not an idyllic destination if you want to go skiing, found that there were no direct demanding slopes, and it was packed with people and too much transport distances for my taste.
Puckelpistena, on the other hand, is challenging and steep, especially those against torture.
For free skiing, Verbier is certainly ideal, if you arrive at the right time, as there are more areas to go on than when I was there. A nice area for the one who, like me, is not so experienced outfit, is the area around Greppon Blanc.
In addition, the park is large and well maintained which is a plus.
After shooting at the pub of Mont Fort, it does not matter, but by the way, the nightlife in Verbier is animal and snobby, and not really in my taste.
A minus is also that it is packed with people all over the world, which one would be better off without.

Really nice place with a good mix of slave pistes, where you can taste small and steep technical fields like Mont Fort and the cake. Can also recommend Mt. Jelly, please the north side.
The whole system's four valleys are really good, but in order to utilize the entire area, one should live in one of the middle resorts otherwise it will take too much time to move over to the other side of the system.
The rating would be higher if the snow conditions had been better when I was there.
