Ski resorts in Sweden
What do you think about Abisko / Nuolja?

The most beautiful ski resort I visited in Sweden. One does not lift a pistol as far as you can see and lots of surfaces of controlled safe offpiste. There is only one disadvantage with stolen and that's that it's so far up far up =)

I was there a long weekend 3 years ago, it was 150cm snow on the mountain and the sun is shining everyday. Maybe I had the best spring skiing of my life those days and regret me for a second.

Just make sure the inland floats out long enough to reach the edge of the yard to find shyssta rides. The low lane increases the farther away from the lifts you are, and it will be longer to slope / go back.

oh this lapland pearl! Too bad to inform others about it because I want it for myself. The incredible ride and a difficult mood at the station. Tips are, as I said, the offpiste guides, just over the hundred-day half-day lift pass and half-day guided tour. No place hits it. Perfect if you come by train in the middle of the day and the sun is shining and the skidding is right.

The fact that Abisko has the most beautiful pistemap does not make it all the worse either. Determines where the ski patrol controls avalanches and where they do not. Very informative booklet, fix one straight away when you arrive.

Talk to the guides in the morning between eight and nine for the latest weather information, a must if you are going skiing all day. Abisko is the place for those who are really interested in skiing and all the way around. Their low prices are really good, go them.

A complete ski resort without all the krimskrams.

Have just been to Abisko / Nuolja 2 times and gone but Devil's how good it is! The skiing is great fun and much is easily accessible! The food at the tourist station is heavenly! The accommodation is cheap! The train stays close! The area is incredibly busy! The staff are nice, you feel at home in some way! Lift tickets are cheap! You can get blanket in the elevator! Sauna is hot!

Obviously, a little more drag in the evenings would not hurt. Then they have unfortunately no hot tub :(

Today, Nuolja opened for the season!

I myself did not have such high expectations when Calfjället has been cleanblown lately but oh so wrong I had.

The last snow reef had been snowing in several lines so if you knew where to look, you found what was being searched.

Really good skiing on Sweden's best offpiste mountain.
After taking part in an outpour guide, you can find the most important parts of Nuolja and from it it's much easier to find and be creative.
Lift yes! What would Nuolja be without this cool lift? nothing!.
The elevator puts a real touch on the place.
Those who complain that the lifts go slowly learn to take advantage of the time to drive the next rink and if you are hard enough, the time for rest and fluid is needed.

I'm not the slightest objective but I think it's really fun to ski on Nuolja.

The terrain rewards the creative and attentive farmer, one tip is to check out the directions the wind has had during the night so that you can plan the day's rides after it may be possible that the drift snow has subsided. There are several fun combinations to get more to the valley station within the ski area, controlled by the ski patrol, starting by descending to Herr Melin and following the brook down to the Cruxet and heading into Linbanegatan. During the lifetime you will be able to both drink coffee from the thermos and drive the next trip. Since you want to go outside the ski area later, it is possible to read the avalanche forecast at Bergatationen.

Make big turns for Rihtunjira down to Isgrottan and look for the transport going to the Dalstation. Take the thermos once more and enjoy the cold wind in your face, after all, it's the one who transports the snow to Sweden's most depressing place ...

You will soon sneak north and wonder if it is possible to drive the 800 fall height meters via Harbrant down to the E10?
It's great, more about it when you see Nuolja ...

Definitely worth a visit has everything one could wish for a mountain. 500 fall height meters with very varied rides. When we were there in March we had a lucky trip with the weather. Apparently the lift was closed for two and a half days but when it was open, it was offered unforgettably good skiing. A minus, however, is the lift which has to be one of the world's most loathy lifts, making you feel faster to get up!

Nuolja Offpist is a plant that does not look like any other ski area I've been to. Here's just a lift (which does not go as slow as everyone says) and not a single pisted downhill. The whole mountain is open for creative rides, which gives the outsider fantastic opportunities to create their own lines. But the mountain also requires a lot of its "users", it is really steep and the snow is deep. Tranceives, spade and company are to recomend. It does not hurt to know how to use the gadgets again.

When you get up there at the mountain station and look out over the Lapporten and Torneträsk you have many hiking options. And no matter how you get down, you will experience a real challenge and a beautiful nature experience. Walking up to 60 degrees is enough for most people.

I would recommend following an offpiste guide if you have never been to Nuolja before. Then you get a feel of how to best utilize the trenched fangs at the bottom of the mountain, which transports skis and skiers back to the valley station again. The increase in the next few days will be significantly more effective then.

I have been sold for this ski area and I think that with an increased offpiste awareness and even better skier in Sweden this electric race will not be so untouched anymore, unfortunately. But I think the area can withstand far more skis / skiers than today (otherwise I would never have written it on this page). Try Nuolja Offpist in Abisko ...

Rock on!

I'm overwhelmed! After writing my signature on the ski pass, and taking on all my responsibility for my ride, it was off the mountain with the slow and the only lift. Felt was there to borrow to not freeze from the old skin during the lift ride. Nuolja is in some way between two different "weather zones" so the sun managed to peek a little now and then, even though there were quite bad weather in the hooks around. A lot of snow and tricky roads to get down on made the ride so fun and varied! It also felt safe when a ski patrol works in the area and we were advised to hire transverses / transmitters to avoid getting rid of any old avalanche. So I strongly recommend the offpist foxes.

Agrees with the review center that the Abisko ride is absolutely wonderful! There last Easter and did some of the top tours in the area. The only downside to Noulja is that the lift is probably Sweden's slowest ..... The mountain has a lot of really steep slopes as well !!! In addition, it is usually good with snow access because it blows in from the back of the mountain (where Björkliden has a significantly greater annual rainfall than Abisko is). One should look out for avalanches with regard to all the snowmills gathered! Tranciever to shovel, a must !!

Wanna be this season odd and it's not going to be the last time !! A great place!
