(Abisko) Sweden's best mountain? Njulla offers Sweden's second highest fall height (only the battle of Åre). There is a piste but no pistol! There are not many that go to Njulla so the mountain offers large unspoilt surfaces. At Njulla it is often big avalanche. The back is located within the national park and therefore the pistols do not blow the avalanches. Transmitter, shovel and understanding are recommended! The former are available for rent at the mountain station, but you can understand the understanding yourself. The mountain is a forgotten paradise and is mainly used by telemark farmers. The atmosphere is relaxed. Excellent accommodation at a good price at the nearby STF Abisko mountain station. To Njull's disadvantages is an old lift that goes slowly, the already mentioned avalanches and that it does not fall as much snow as in the border. If it were not for this it would be a definite 5th in grades. Nights, after-ski etc. do not exist, but it's not something you can do after a day at Njulla. Njulla is not recommended for the beginner but a paradise for the little better riders. If you want to vary the ride with other systems, it is great to live at the mountain station and for cheap money, take a daytrip with the train to Björkliden or Gränsen. I was in place at Easter and will of course return this season too.
