Axamer Lizum

Ski resorts in Austria
Axamer Lizum is known for its long, undulating slopes and magnificent views. Ingemar Stenmark has a historical connection here, as he took home an Olympic bronze medal in slalom in 1976. With nine lifts and a drop of 2559,1 feet, the slopes stretch all the way up to 7677,2 feet.
The last day of skiing starts with a short bus ride to Axamer Lizum, where we take the charming mountain train Olympiabahn up to the top. With a fiddler entertaining along the way, the journey becomes a cultural experience. At the top, we enjoy lunch and prepare for almost 2624,7 feet of skiing down to the base. Axamer Lizum is also family-friendly with a children's area where both young and old can end the day in the best way. A recommendation for families visiting Innsbruck!
