It was here I learned to go offpiste seriously. Since almost no-one goes out in Canazei, you have everything for yourself. The mast is also very close to the piste.

The slopes are awesome and strike the most I've been to.

The food is like the rest of Italy cruel.

I strongly recommend the hotel Astoria.

The rating is "only" one reason because there is no advanced ride and that it probably would have been cruel much boring without 0.5m pads that we had. Without the snow, the rating would probably have been lower.

Canazei belongs to Dolomiti Superski which is an incredibly large lift system. The world's largest with its 1220km piste. From canazei you can ski on 500km piste that is coherent via the famous Sella Ronda tour. But if you have access to a car, you can go around and come to other areas where, for example, there are significantly fewer people. The slopes are very well groomed, I have actually found completely undeveloped manchester around 15.30 a.m. The system invites you to get out on full day ski trips instead of hitting the backs of the home system all day long. If you want to get out of the slopes there is a lot to get rid of, but some snow is needed for it, and it's not the snow safest resort in the Alps, but it's very sunny. The village itself is a genuine city that has burned a couple of times, but all houses have been built in a Tyrolean style, giving a cozy atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

I have returned to the Dolomites now for 15 years. Never have I been disappointed by the well-prepared slopes, the wonderful water courses in the slopes and the reasonably acceptable prices for both food and drinks. If you are looking to cruise down a saloon floor in giant carvings, with a good place for its technical development, there are few places to be found nearby. Here are classic World Cupbacks in Val Gardena and Alta Badia that give a light splash of lactic acid in both legs and minds. Likewise, there are family-friendly places for those who want to relax and enjoy the alps' alternative experiences in terms of nature, resturant and culture. The Val Gardena valley, like many other parts of the Dolomites, is famous for its wood carvings, which may be worth a visit, as well as a possible purchase of an original wood chess board, beautifully crafted by a local wood craftsman.

Skiing possibilities outside the piste require a lot of snow because of the fact that the mountain contains most rock and few surfaces with grass and meadow. However, you can find good and sometimes very demanding and good runs in their rocky surroundings.

My recommendation is to bring sunscreen and take care of your stay in this incredibly beautiful part of the Alps ..... I go back to v.13 and will enjoy all this ... the skis must be with you all ...

Very nice area, not least big. If you count on the entire Dolomiti Super Ski you have a ride for many days. A big minus was all the people who were there on week 8 2005. In just Canazei it was impossible to do their thing due to the lift queues and the cruel hills.

When there are many people in Canazei, it's all the less in Pozza / Buffaure, Alba, Arabba and the other surrounding areas.

A little dry nightlife, Canazei may have more to offer than Vigo di Fassa where I lived. I got the feeling that Canazei is a family place, lung and peaceful, but with cruel rides.

Very "nice" area with many goa resturants to waterhole for the thirsty. Found nice offpiste places in Alba neighbor village they have a self lift that is not related to the other systems but on the back you have a lot of untouched snow and a lot of variation on the severity of offpiste. But if you go there you can count on a long walk after but it was worth it

Canazei is part of a very large ski area around the mountain Sella (Sella Ronda). The slopes offer large carving surfaces with varying rides. Everything from the big "square" that is located directly after the two lifts from the village to the steeper slopes towards the Arabba Way. The landscape and the environment are very beautiful.
In the case of offpiste you should be lucky. 2003/2004 offered a lot of snow. Because the slopes are relatively low (2000m) and the sun takes very hard, the snow that falls quickly is destroyed. However, there are opportunities and Italians rarely go Offpist. Do you think of going here then review the neighboring areas and buy cards for everyone! See also my comments for Arabba.

Very nice area with nice nature, Breda slopes with good space for carving! 80% sunny days, even good off-peak opportunities after snowfall.
GOOD NIGHTLIFE! Could, however, bet more on Parker, Bordercross is on the other hand.

Well! Va there the winter 02-03. The ski system was huge ... never ran out .. so that was a big plus. A plus point to get Canazei because the sun always shines! Dolimiterna = sun!
The big negative that Canazei / Campitello has almost no nightlife .. which can be quite boring = (
Silver overalls in style 80 numbers are no unusual sight

Stayed yourself in Campitello. neighboring town to Canazei. The lifts are connected and it is possible to go to Sella Ronda (a half-day trip where you go around in different systems to finally get back where you started). Unfortunately, very bad with snow when I was there (Feb. 2002). very good slopes for the minimal snow, but it was not offered any off-piste directly ... (nightlife is barely present in campitello, but it can be celebrated in Canazei)
