Edsåsdalen

Edsåsdalen is a small family system just south of Åre. In total, there are five lifts with, mainly, green and blue slopes, but also the occasional red piste. Perfect for families with children with eager kids who want to experience the Jämtland mountains as it is possible to let them go to explore on their own without the risk of them getting lost in the system!

A part of Edsåsdalen, Renfjället and the waffle house Vita Renen, cannot be reached by downhill skiing alone. Instead, interpretation is offered by piste machine or snowmobile sled to get there. Once there, you are up on the bare mountain and from the top of the lift you get fantastic views of Jämtland.

A less common activity that Edsåsdalen offers in its range is mountain weddings, i.e. simply getting married in the ski resort! There are probably many places where it is possible to do this, of course, but since Edsåsdalen is actively working with it as a concept, they have a lot of experience with it from before.
