The park was very well-known but not as big as I thought it would be. But the offpiste was really good. Seems it was a good place to go to but do not expect much of the park. The staff in the restaurants were really boring and stupid.
Very good place to go sneak and piste.

Stylish alpine that can provide good pictures. Good Off-Piste if the snow is only there. Now we were lucky enough to dig in at least a good day of cushioning. The slopes are mediocre and outdated and the restaurant offers cash. Very service minded staff though at the hotel what it was called?

Well !! Engelberg is absolutely amazing I came home today and I've been there for a week. Yes if you're going to ski, you can stick to another ski (snowboard) place. Here's the offpiste and the powder that rules. It's been sunny the whole The week you can easily get goggle burn and get tanned.
+ Powder (off-piste)
+ Great weather
+ Not so great long queues (go there right early so you're there when they open otherwise it will be a rude long queue down there) First than I got there we did not know this so we arrived half an hour later than they opened and it took about one hour in the queue at the bottom. But then it went fast.
+ ALLO simply that was perfect. Besides one thing that bothered you
-All Japanese who take up space in the elevator are essentially those that cause the queues. Otherwise super MVH jonte

That tone show with snow that was promised whose hell is it ??? Then go to hell, not down to Engelberg now !!! There is only ice in the slopes and dry Japanese as short. Do not trust their home page where they write the snow, because they exaggerate them worse than a 5 year old.

Nothing but seriously speaking, with the correct snow forholland, Engelberg is certainly a very good place.

Terrific lovely area! Metervis with loosening everywhere, oh it's not unnecessary to get a lot of heights with pillows!

VERY SKIBUM, then you may think it's good or bad. Rather Swedish than German in the piste, I feel myself!

If you just want to go skiing, maybe it's time to look around for another place ... Here's the PUDRET that rules!

Were week 10-11 in the winter
Thanks to good friends finding me, I'd almost filled my pillows purse for the winter after these two weeks.
Had a terrific trip to the weather that chose to snow or stray sun.

Certainly a place to recomend if you find.

I have been to Engelberg once. I was there last year at Easter. Just be there 1 day ... I would not think it was acceptable. It was like butter on the hill and I had really swampy skis !!! I just wrecked him, the park was turned off because there would be a race there later that day!
They were also a lot of winds in the slopes that went downhill.



It was not really the best day for skiing ... a bit too hot ... but they were still a terrific nice experience to be in Engelberg. They were really nice !!

I learned to ski in Engelberg in the 80's. Well, that's true before the big HYPEN ... When you could speak Swedish in the elevator queue without the risk that someone understood a dew. When people stayed home in the apartments when it turned out to be fog on the mountain and you got the whole mountain over the clouds. Then the powder could remain in the piste for a whole day. Not right now ... Now it's a mocker of Swedish off-piste. And it is about time that this wonderful place has been discovered, just a pity that you have to share ... !!
The snow, the fall height, the view, the long drive from Titlis down to the village ... What should I say - my heart is still in Engelberg!

Engelberg was a cannon - for a week!
As above offpiste-riders, it would be interesting and above all inspiring to go to the paradise of loosening.
The slopes were incredibly well groomed, long in the afternoons you could still see the paths of the pistons. In a week I was never in a single lift queue (despite peak season). The lifts were relatively fast and modern.
On the last day we rented a guide that really took us to incredible places. Or what about untouched snow with 1400 meters in fall height?
The food is nothing to cheer for, like the city. The park contained some rails and two really bad jumps. The slopes are few and are not enough for more than a week.
I was incredibly pleased. Sun every day and walked about snow (350 cm).

Engelberg has been widely discussed and written, but does the village give reasons for the hype? Well ... The fall height is ok at their places, but it is not particularly steep. If there are bad conditions, it is not good to go because there is no proper forest skiing. In addition, many endnights are tracked the day after snowfall, there is some hot season among the seasons. A good thing about the village is the monster burgers on Yucatan. Sick big!
