Engelberg may not be the funniest village, but what the hell will I get there for the awesome ride !! Have you been there for a while and drive yesterday like texa Lauben, Wasserfall, the front of the Titlis Glacier, the yacht from Jochstock down to the icefall, on to trubseesjön etc. So you know that these rides in PUDER (which were good for the year, Feb, March) are really GRYMMA. And for all those who say there is no forests (except Brunni), the forests have never run at Obertrubsee to untertrubsee !!!! As bad Engelberg offers a grimmly easy-to-use off-ward of WORLD CLASS !!!

Wherever you are, tribute to the Engelberg ski resort, but be aware there are several negative sides that you should count on before letting you be attracted to all the excesses.

There is no forest skiing, so when it is flat light (almost even) you have to sit and starve into a wall, maybe for a whole week. Do not count on any other activities. There is abound nothing to do.

The girls are louder and harder than any Swedish dare to imagine. There are unbelievable stories about Swedish bums that woke up beside the most hesitant monsters.

When the Germans have sports holidays, they have sports holidays and jokes in if you want to ride a lift. They are so damn many, so you can as well go up or go home and gaze in the wall, even if there is good weather.

In the weekends, every Swiss citizen will stand in front of you and form a lift queue without end.

Apartment is almost impossible to find, but there are hotels if you can afford.

People are quite unpleasant and world champion to pay.

When it's lunch, everything closes for several hours. some lifts! It does not matter how much you want to get up in the untidy pisted slopes, it's lunch it's closed! That's what you probably think I'll find, but it's true!

Where the pistons are drawn, there are big holes and bumps in the hill, nobody can go there.

In the spring you can fish in a lake called oertigen lake, you will probably go fishing and get in trouble with polizei who have ancestors and routines left from Gestapo. Many old Gestapo men are now working in the Swiss Police.

Yes, there are more reasons not to go to Engelberg, but do as you please.

Engelberg is a very nice stable to vacation. That's what I'm saying. quite calm, but as said very nice. Engelberg has a good skiing experience with Titlis, while the atmosphere in the mountain village is very cozy. I have had a lot of skiing holidays there and plan to go there again, maybe too fast. The Easter week in Switzerland is wonderful, down the village, the summer is coming up, in the mountains it's fine, not too cold. However, it is advisable to drive on high corners this season! Whoever is thinking of driving to Engelberg: Cause to!

I would like to ask you a question as a reader, but before that I will tell you about a place in Switzerland. We were in Engelberg during v 9 -01 and experienced some magical snow days with a couple of world-class animal outposts !!! Go recommended by us is Galtiberg and of course Lauben, the white pillowcases that invite to take an extra dextrose sol ...
We do not think Brunni has a lot to offer on a ski path, but as family backpackers they are certainly quite OK (there is, however, the opportunity to experience nice forest skiing for the one who is idol). so to the question:
Do you want to go to Heroinvit Pudersnö in Engelberg or Carva in Dalarna?
I can guarantee a pleasant experience in Switzerland this year, but ...

Engelberg has a very good summer skiing on the glacier and is also well suited as it is only about 40min by car from Zurich. By contrast, the area is not that big, so if you know that there are snow in other major resorts, you should go there first. Ruskit many Japanese tourists in the summer.

Pretty so unknown beautiful classic ski resort with two mountain sides. Sunny and purple Brunni. Shady and big Titlis, with 2000 meters north side. Large areas with serious skiing on crazy galcies, in narrow gutters and in large fields. Galtiberg and Laub are the two big offpist rides, but oh so dangerous. Last year when I put the breakfast in my throat and many times before, the entire side of Laub's 800 fall height meter went off. Not many people on weekdays, but on weekends the city of Schwizare invades from all nearby cities. Almost only then, there will be some noise in the village.
