Grindelwald

Ski resorts in Switzerland
Grindewald really sums up Switzerland's amazing Alps. The ski resort is located in the central part of the country and offers breathtaking skiing with a drop of almost 4921,3 feet. Another great advantage is that the ski resort is part of the Jungfrau Region, one of Switzerland's largest ski areas. It's fairly easy to get to Wengen's ski system from Grindelwald, while Mürren is a bit trickier. Grindelwald offers 43 lifts, postcard-perfect scenery at every turn, and really challenging rides even for professionals. On the Wengen side, one of the toughest downhill races in the world is held – the Lauberhornrennen.
For those of you who are eager to try some tough off-piste, you will find good opportunities under the Eiger's north wall. To get here, simply take the Saltzegg lift. When you want to take a break from skiing, countless outdoor activities await. Grindelwald takes the breath away from the most experienced alpine skiers. The landscape is spectacular with its snow-capped mountain peaks and glaciers. Pay a visit to the highest train station in Europe, the "Top of Europe", a perfect place for this year's selfie!
