Was there 10/10 - 20 / 10-03

Be very good with snow to be here early in the season. Got to be prepared for all the cracks that were outside the piste. But I can promise it went well anyway to burn a little offpiste anyway.
Have been there a few times now and it's a terrific place with a rough ride ...

How beautiful! There is not even a postcard, so awesome. The negative must be the shady weather when I was there. There was everything: rain, sunshine, cold, heat, fog etc.
But you're kidding when it's snowing more than a half-meter pillows. =)
wonderfully nice. There were many unspoiled (executable) places. You can not go through the whole system in a whole week.
unfortunately little little fun park. It had a pipe, 6 kickers but nothing more. but it did not matter.
To hintertux I will visit MUCH times.

The glacier did not show its best side in summer but a nice gondola that picked it up.

Brrr !!! Called to drive skiing from 3200m in January. The climbing on the Olperer was nice and easy (Norwegian grade 3 + / 4). Return down the ski slopes. Recommend that this be done BEFORE the lift closes and in daylight ...

Hintertux has now been a given destination for me for 5 years now. Every year we have some well-deserved competition skiers plus parents over 30 have been in hintertux, during NOVEMBERLOVET it has been wonderful. The glacier is large and steep and has a very good jumping land. A special Wednesday occurred last year. We step out of the piccolo bar around 2 snows and see it snowing. The morning there all the Swedes are upstairs. No Germans were due to the fact that it had been a holy weekend day before they lay and spit in the beds. In principle, we had the entire hinteretux glacier for ourselves filled to the width with 70-75 cm lice! And SOL, SOL! It was the best skiing day of my life! You could get off the elevator at the top, go 70 cm deep unspoilt pads in the middle of the piste. The road took about 7 minutes to the fathers! Only at 3 o'clock it started to get up. And the legs worked. But it was worth it. Total subject at dinner was given. can it snow 70 cm in one night ???

I usually go here on autumn holidays and it is a very nice atmosphere and nice people. This fall we were blessed by 7o cm! sneeze on a Wednesday morning. skysst snowboardland on the glacier with awesome big jump. unfortunately quite expensive at the resturants on the hill .... but there is nothing else available. Ps. watch out for the drag and large glacier cracks.

Schysst glacier traveling about 3200 meters above sea level.
When you have 3 gondolas and a sled lift, you have a huge view and a maximum of 12 km of piste for you. Backe number 12 is a good and wide carving back to start in (though it is quickly discovered). The marked offpiste is available, although it is usually quite unattended. If you want to go the right off-piste it is relatively easy to reach and untouched. One minus when I was there was that there was some rock that lay underneath the snow deck. The queues are not very dangerous and you are tired of having the rest of the Zillertal valley to go in (if you solved zillertal ski passes that are quite cheap. 1400kr for 6 days approx.), Although the slopes here are quite nice and the fall height is so there.

Number 1 in terms of snow safety and an early start of the ski season. We were there in mid October and only needed to get around with tens of national teams that were in training camps.
