Hoforsbacken

Just east of Hofors, by the E16, you will find Hoforsbacken – a cozy and family-friendly ski resort. It offers good skiing for both beginners and more experienced skiers with two lifts and five slopes.

The facility has both a piste machine and snow cannons that allow Hoforsbacken to keep its tracks in good condition throughout the season, provided that the cold persists. The area also has barbecue areas for sausage grilling, a warming cabin with a café where you can take a break and enjoy a hot drink, as well as ski rental for those who do not have their own equipment. For those who want to improve their skiing skills, there is a ski school for both children and adults.

With a large car park near the slope and easy access from the E16, Hoforsbacken is easily accessible to anyone who wants to get there. For groups or companies, it is also possible to rent the slope for various activities, such as company evenings or other recreational events.
