Jack Frost

Ski resorts in USA
Jack Frost–Big Boulder is a ski resort consisting of two separate ski areas in Kidder Township, located in the Pocono Mountains of northeastern Pennsylvania. The resort combines two distinctly different characters and gives skiers the opportunity to vary their skiing during the same stay.
The Jack Frost section was built with a focus on longer slopes and larger vertical drop than is common in the area. Unlike many resorts in the Pocono Mountains, the slopes were drawn down towards the Lehigh River rather than up a ridge, providing more continuous runs and longer drop lines.

Big Boulder has instead become known for its focus on freestyle, with off-road parks long being among the most developed on the East Coast of the United States. Together, the two mountains have made Jack Frost–Big Boulder one of the more high-profile ski destinations in the region, where classic piste skiing and park skiing clearly coexist.

Since 2019, the resort is owned and operated by Vail Resorts, after previously being under the auspices of Peak Resorts.
