Perfect place for families with children! The slopes were nicely groomed, friendly staff, good food, hardly any lift queues v10. The only thing that brought down the rating on the slopes was that there were many fires all around and the smoke was over the children's slope and also below the restaurant and even into the ski rental. (These fires should be moved so that you can be in the children's slopes and breathe clean air). We lived in a private cabin in the community, near the Coop and bakery. Cozy.

The entire cabin stank of mold. We had to nag another cabin, it was not possible to sleep there. After only a few hours in the cabin, clothes, towels and bed linen smelled of mold despite airing. Nice surroundings and decent tracks. But if you don't like moldy cheese so much that you want to live in one, I recommend Braås or some other child-friendly ski resort. The new cabin was better, but hard to know what you're getting, doesn't make the vacation a mold lottery.

Better skiing than many previous reviews gossip about. The steeper slopes on the front of the mountain provide speed down the flat. Devil's gap, you could remove the fence at the end of the slope, it would have lifted that slope to new levels.

The green and blue slopes provide just the right slope to be able to learn their first turns. It's good that in several slopes they put in bumps when it flattens out, it makes the slope fun all the way down.

Close to parking, good gathering areas both inside and outside.

More chairlifts, bigger slopes, more people mean that the agility for beginners disappears in other ski resorts. Säfsen has managed to find its size balance.

Non-functioning TV that we had to solve ourselves. Broken drying cabinet. Broken lights or bad information. Snoring answer when we point this out. No compensation was offered

Good and orderly setting for families with children or for those who are new to the wonderful world of skiing.
Good restaurant with coffee and food, clean toilets and friendly staff.

Quite small facility perfect for a couple of days max. Giant queues that never end in high season. Plus for nice outdoor seating. Go a bit east and you will come to Romme Alpin. Light years better.

Perfect small ski resort for families with small children, however, for the more experienced, the slopes felt very short. More time was spent sitting in the chairlift than actually skiing. It is also sad that both anchor lifts went faster to get to the top than the chairlift.
