Were there last week and came home yesterday and have to say I am very pleased with the resort.
Well-functioning lift system, nice prices and plenty of aprés ski for anyone who wants.
The glacier skiing was very nice. Got plenty of snow and nice powder skiing while we were there, the famous carpenter.

Have been to Solden twice, both during Easter. Have been amazing! The slopes are enormously good and offer great variety. Last time, however, it was sunny all week, well in a way .. But the snow was VERY blurred

Were in Sölden the second weekend in December 2006, came home yesterday.
It was a gym place. The ride takes place on a glacier and they are therefore open all year round. The glacier part is only part of the whole system, so we had to go 25 min but a bus from Hochsölden where we stayed.
Then we had a bad luck with the weather, had not snowed for a while when we got there, but snowed around 40 cm light cushions while we were there. Feels good to get such an early start of the season: P as early start was world class,
would like to go there at the same time again, everything. another of the glaciers of the Alps.
In addition, there was a small park with type 2 jumps and 4 rails.

Does not know why this resort was missing from the charter companies' range for so many years. Access to glacier, easy-to-reach offpiste, slopes of all colors and lots of nice huts should make Sölden a well-deserved Austrian classic. Add 10 Euro so you can go to Obergurgl one of the days. A really pissed gem! A sky clearing in the evening. A little too much German touch on the nightlife, but you can get it out with ...

was in the saddle last year, v.42 with the slalom club and thought it was absolutely wonderful! almost no queues, varying slopes, celebrities started rolling in, good shopping down the village, good food and the weather was a cannon! : D Never had a wonderful week in my life, absolutely perfect. The only downside was that because the sun was on the day, the snow broke down, but still it was fine. thought it was perfect with the queues, just jump on a lift / cabin .. Soon I'll be there again, but this time, v. 44, and then guess there are more people, considering the autumn holidays o the world cup premiere. : D

Were in Sölden v.44 with Völkl, beautiful glacier skiing and around a 4-9 slopes open.
Bad with park so early unfortunately, but there were two boxes, one kinked, to a regular who was badly beautiful.

Absolutely wonderful weather almost all the time.
Stayed downstairs in the village, when we arrived, it was around 12 degrees a day in the village so you could walk around in shorts if you wanted to.


The nightlife was nice, with several different nightclubs and great people and relatively cheap drinks.

Perfect preseasoning!

Have been to Soelden for two new years. Cruel snow proof when the mountains are green alternatively brown in other parts of Austria. Fall height is difficult 2000 meters. The best skiing can be found in the slopes of Rosskirpl, 2700m, down to Giggijoch valley station, 1370m, black all the way. Just do not forget to visit Eugens Obstlerhutte on the way down, which is one of many huts with high gemutlichkeit. I've been wearing this scarf safely 10 times in a largely unpopulated pist during two New Year's Eve mornings. That day is probably the best throughout the season ...

The offpiste I have tested has most been on the glaciers and it has been really good, but there is certainly more that I have not discovered.

Afterskin stays sick high level. Pants dancing on the table the evening long. I was there in the winter when DJ Ötzi was the hottest, senseless pressure. Guess which song was played the most ... Nightlife I can not comment on when I usually sleep well at 10 o'clock.
One drawback, however, is that the annual percentage rate is quite small compared with many other places. It's snowing often, but a little bit. It might be terribly cold in January if the greenhouse effect takes a break for a while, considering the high altitude.

(Glacier) 4 as long slopes are open on the front yard ... it's like 16 rides in Swedish slopes ... that's kind 4 lifting on (the claciären) .. I would like to go there on the highs .... then there are 36 more backs ... and a hill is highest from the top down to the village .... it takes type 20 minutes to go down .... but up takes it kind of 50 minutes by lift ... you can go bus but then you have to take the risk of being afraid of the roads have barely any rails that will be right up for stuuup !!! yeeeeeeeee
have been there 2 times with völkl ... my dad drove the bus !!
5/5 in high season

I have been to the Solden 2 times with our spring slalom club in October promised. Sure, people are very good, but I do not think you should complain that the slopes are very long. They are perfect for exercise and that's because most ski clubs in Sweden just go there. The weather is often good. The food, however, is not the best, otherwise I think it's a perfect place for pre-season training. The village is also small, but big enough to find so large eateries and all kinds of ski brands, clothing brands, glasses brands, etc., you can imagine.
If you are a person who is looking for a place to have a holiday and ice cream around the slopes, I do not recommend the sölden in October at least because of the crowd.
A perfect place to go to which is not too expensive either because it is located in Sweden is the RIKSGRÄNSEN! an unsearchable place that always comes to a place in my heart.

I was in Hintertux last week, then v 44.
That's probably the worst skiing I've been doing in the long run, I'm going to year.
may be due to go 3 cabins to get up there is a lot of congestion and no further backs all look equally fashionable. whispered there was a park. but it's very small. The royal park's park is bigger: S
The staff there are well not the best right.
one thing my dad did badly your whole leg bleed I would help if they did not believe me. and the other was that they dropped us up in the back when it was barely possible to go. for the moon and the moon were the 2 days it was possible to go tis.ons were closed. So, I got a lot of panic and released people two-and-thirty but it was completely dangerous. I would not want to go back there again.
