Söll is a popular ski resort in western Austria. The resort is part of the massive Ski Welt system, also known as the Wilder Kaiser Ski Region, one of Austria's largest with 91 lifts. These include the ski resorts of Ellmau, Scheffau, Westendorf and Itter. For those who like off-piste skiing, a lot of exciting forest skiing awaits you, but is still close to the lift system. Other skiers can enjoy long descents, the highest peak is 6420,6 feet and the vertical drop is 4386,5 feet.
Söll is the ultimate ski holiday destination for the whole family. The beginners can have fun learning to stand properly at the top of the piste, here you are often assigned if you are green as the slopes are easy. In the meantime, the pros can try their hand at the mogul piste on the towering Hohe Salve mountain. After that descent, even the most experienced skiers are quite sore in the legs...
