Ski resort has shut down
Lilla Storstenshöjden is a small ski resort a few kilometres outside Örebro. The area is very popular with the locals. The longest piste is 700 meters and the highest drop is 105 meters. Just right for a day of skiing as Storstenshöjden is suitable for both green beginners and more experienced skiers. A nice plus is that most of the slopes are illuminated and offer night skiing. All slopes also have artificial snow cannons, which ensures snow.
For those who want to kick off the ski season with some nice turns on wide slopes and get in shape, Storstenshöjden is perfect, at least if you live nearby. There are also some jumps where you can do tricks and fly. In total, the area has nine slopes, a children's and beginners' area and seven miles of cross-country ski trails. With about 100 snow days per year, there are plenty of opportunities for a nice day trip here.

Storstenshöjden has a new park this year, which is really good. It is built in conjunction with a association called STHAV Jibbers.
