Have lived and went to Tandådalen every year since 1999 or -98 and there is nothing more to say than this is a perfect mountain. For those who have children, it is a top mountain. And also for older and more advanced riders. Tandådalen has a park and also a half pipe and many black and goa slopes. Tandådalen has a very well-placed inn just below Stora Backen where afterski is held and everyone is up and running;).
Then, on the other hand, Hundfjället is slightly worse according to me. Although they have their 8-manna lift, then their range of slopes is a bit semi-skid, but here we have a wide range of activities for young children and more. A big + with Hundfjället is however the World Cup Back and the Wall, which are REALLY good challenges and two backs you can get along when you get down the hill.
But together with the connection keys they are truly world class and I do not know if Åre beats them ...

The only bad thing I can do with the tooth decay is that it's full of people and a little expensive food prices. Otherwise it's perfect! When I was there, there were also good weather, and I went in jeans and sweaters. A tip, if you are in high season, it's a good idea to have your own equipment and charge the lift card before you get off, it's long queues! Another good thing is that children under a certain age (7?) Are leaving for free.

Are you in Tandådalen you will stay there and go to the park ... Hundfjället is sadly not as fun as the tooth decal because they are more focused on families with children ... have a caravan in the tandådalen so you are most there :)

If you live in Tandådalen, hurry up to Hundfjället immediately.
The tooth decay is impersonal, boring, flat, unpleasant, yes, quite bad indeed. In Hundfjället you will find much better skiing, for example. The wall.

I was in the tooth decay now o they are really beautifully parked among Sweden's best. tandådalen kläppen and kungsberget have the best parks in Sweden I think.
But those who are a bit boring are that they are so short backs, but if they had a long time then the tooth decay would be cruel.
It usually also snow more in the seal one for example. .. so they are fine.

Have just got home from the seal. I have to say they're okay but there was no real leak on the slopes. I was there at week 9 when everyone from Stockholm just finished their sports holiday so they were barely any lift queens.

Tandådalen:
Good ski area, but most of the slopes are completely hilly and run away from two times.
The dream park is really nice as most people should go in. It has really nice bigjumps and rails. The only problem is that so many young kids run on the hill without jumping and when they jump, they go up on the jump but do not get over. Otherwise, it's really nice and hardly any queues at all in the lifts.

Lindvallen:
Not so successful. There were no rocks and the slopes were raised already at 12. Dream park was not much to talk about but well okay if you are a beginner. They should put some more money on the dream park and put it on a steeper hill so you get some speed when you're going to jump.

Hundfjället:
Just be there for a while because there is a connection lift so that you can get between the tooth decay and the dog mountain. I did not like the dog mountain any further because they felt like they were a little in the shade. Thus, there is a worse firing in the slopes of the dog mountain compared with the tooth decay. On the other hand, there are not as many people in the dog mountain, so why do not the slopes so get up. Dream park e nothing to talk about if there were no "real" jumps. The wall is probably a little overrated, but it's really ugly because everyone !!! will go in it

End grades, you should go to the seal, you should be able to ride on all lifts because you get tired of the slopes as all the same.
Do not go there if you are an advanced rider not to recommend.

Had a really nice sports holiday week in Sälen and was pleasantly surprised. Despite not perfect weather, I had incredible fun. Hundfjället has come this year with a small fun park adapted for beginners that suited me perfectly. There are quite a lot of rails and jumps that make it easy to get in technology before taking on the much bigger jumps in the tandadal's dreams. Certainly the slopes can not measure the alps at fall height meters, but if you like to get about 40 cm feather pillows, the offpiste really works well too.

Very nice punching both in the T Valley and Dogfjaell, if you're up early and it's pretty cold or, like when I was up last spring (April), as long as the pistachio lasts ... But such skiing is good enough and Most of them are the ones.

The problem is that it is just too short in the Sälen mountains! The only ones who bid on something like the long distance are the Red Långbackarna in Hundfjället, but at the end it will be transport. If you take a single cut, there is a risk that you get stuck, and I'm probably not supposed to piss if I understand correctly. Overall, the slopes are also too short in Tandådalen, but here the Stora slope is nice (if it is not completely erected and "plump"). The big back in good weather is excellent if you like to ride relatively fast and steep (now, slight slope in any case). The downside is then that you make the back in about 20-30 seconds, and then you spend about 15 minutes in the queue and in the elevator.

As for the infamous wall (double black?) It's definitely overrated !! Certainly, burned like the fank, but it concerns the first top thirds. Then you have to stand on as just the one (read: add 11) to get up to the lift which is located a little wrong, I think. The problem is also that the wall is quickly raised and stained quite icy and it is not so nice. This is mainly due to the fact that the wall stands for "man's test" in the entire Sälen area. So there is a lot that does not really * go * in it but crashes with the skis in the "wrong direction". (It will definitely not be better for all skiers who just have to get down the wall though they should not be!)

Do not misunderstand me: The wall is fun (if it's good before anyway) and I do not miss the feeling it could have of dragging some beautiful shards (even with boards I would suppose) down this legendary steep (?)

On the more positive side lies that especially Hundfjället is * very * child- and family-friendly. Young people under 10 (about) think that the Troll Forest is magical and that the overall ride is good and fun. Tandådalen is more likely to be 12 years old and upwards with its infamous playgrounds ;-)

I really appreciate Sälen's location on the map, but after three weeks of wining, I turn this winter, my lusts look at Trysil six miles to the left (from the bottom of the set). As a pist-reader, I'm looking for double fall height and better crowds ... Maybe you could also dare to try some off-piste !? (Fast Trysil is also, by the way, considerably more expensive.)

Hahah Tandådalen owns a type there 50 years a year. New dream park is being born so bad fun and I'm in. The girl has a really good imagination ..
A tip if you like big jumps and feta rails ..
