What do you think about Tandådalen/Hundfjället?

Very good ski resort. Maybe a little short backs but otherwise good and very varying severity.
Tandådalen can be recommended if you want to trim.
Mostly very good with snow. A lot of people who are both good and bad.
Hundfjället is one of these two my favorite. Good ride and good ride on the lift system. Then they have the wall as a height for us who can go ... =)

Were there on an open day and I was almost tired of going, stay for now, who can not go, go a bit, weigh again, go down to the elevator, stand a quarter in the elevator queue.

+ Good funpark in the tandådalen
If you are there very early, there are not too many people
The offpist area away from the wall, however, is quickly picked up

- Narrow slopes
  A lot of people
  Long queues
  Short slopes

Tandådalen is a perfect place for those who want to trim in the park and the pipes. This year, the park has not been so good, but when the bee is freshly harvested, it is best in Sweden. After the wc final in the pipe it was so nice. 5.10 high .....
The dog mountain has juh the wall and the fine ravine. The rest of the dog mountain is not worth visiting.
The score may be a bit biased because it's my "home back" but be a fan

A good and varied ski area. Very fun offpiste on the wall. May be a number of queues in the lifts of eg sports holidays and the like.

Given the modest fall height of over 200 meters, Tandådalen / Hundfjället is an almost complete ski area. Here there are slopes in all the weather and difficulty levels. From wide well-paved floor tiles to a really burned offpiste.

Hundfjället has a family atmosphere with many families, which is not a disadvantage for the more advanced riders. On the contrary, the steeper slopes are relatively populated and can be found unspoilt offpiste weeks after the last snowfall. The family can take the chair chair up to the top, send the children down through the troll forest, and if desired, turn the skis elsewhere and get 200 fall height meters offpiste right in the drop-down.

Tandådalen is more rock'n'roll. Smaller families and more "youthful". Steep slopes in the west and flatter rides in the north. Easy offpiste between the slopes to the north but not particularly challenging. In the west, bristle offpist but with relatively dense and slightly snowy forests.

Personally, Hundfjället is my favorite, much depending on the alternating slopes and the extremely accessible offpiste. The forest is generally sparse and almost everything between the slopes is possible! From the slightly sparse forest at the Long-lifts to really steep and demanding in the offpiste area at and beyond the wall.

That's all kids! / MM

It was a while since I was there. But thought it was okay, nice to get a little short and get a very good family place.

Have old children had children and then Sälen is very good. For my part, I'm tired of half a day in these miniatures. If you are a good rider then go to Kvitfjäll / Hafjell instead. Not much longer to drive for us from southern Sweden. 800 meters fall height and with good slopes on the slopes as well as minimal lift queues.

Tandådalen / HUndfjället is a very odd place, if you are a beginner and you may not want a lot of swinging rooms in the slopes, then it is well run, especially at the sports week, as there are just as many people as it only gets seats in the slopes in total chock.
And the Sälen mountains are not well reaching mountains, more of a hill.
But if you live in the vicinity, it's probably a cannonball place to go on a day or a weekend, but if you go for a week and get as much GOOD TRAVEL as possible, I think you should choose ÅRE instead!
But Tandådalen / Hunfjället is by far the best in Sälen !!

I think the dog mountain is absolutely wonderful off the piste is great take the lifelong lifts up and go in the woods brevid piste langbacken or ride the green transport back white ring until you cross the shortcut and then go down straight at the junction where you come to a real pillows paradise down to the troll forest not so far away but very good for medium-sized riders. the negative with the dog mountain is almost nothing just that there may be some lift queues in amongst but still i love the dog mountain .ska your next year again a lot of yours ...

I just want to complain about this place, because Sweden's largest ski resort is located here. 50 lifts and 130 runs or reaches, with drops of around 100 meters and trying to beat world records by squeezing as many lifts and backs as possible in one place, they could no longer have put the money on anything more important than building where. I agree with a previous reviewer, this place is for fourteenth and pulse skiing !!!!
