Very good slopes, nice staff, but took too little seats for all lunches ... some days you have to skip lunch because there is no seat.
But when you get lunch it is good lunch!

With good prices and slopes that start where the lift ends, opposite to Idre where fencing is necessary before. Have lived in the main building. This is what you need a little more. At one point we were there so it blew up fast, then the staff came with scooter and trolley and picked up people so you did not have to go back! I call it SERVICE !!!

A perfect ski resort !!!

There are fun slopes (not super-long). Unfortunately, I was there during the pre-season when everything wasn't open. But it seems that there are quite a few slopes. Comfortable 6-chair lift with heat and wind protection. So a good place.

Very nice place, although it is a little far from our cabin. The fall height is not very impressive, but there is good variation in the slopes and there is also a lot of forest terrain at the Hamra lift to enjoy. Then the lunch at Buskvallen is difficult.

Me and the son were there in week 8 2018, experiencing the area as much more mountain feeling than other ski areas I visited. Has been a lot in the Sälen mountains and the Alps.
What was most positive was the snow, only natural snow that made the substrate five stars. Although the fall height is equivalent to the Sälen, the slopes felt more varied, different slopes and turns in the slopes, creating an active and calm ride. Possibility of offpiste was available several days after snowfall if you are used to forest hunting and not afraid of trees. Freeskiers paradise is the area and allows for snowmobiling, and the competition for that product was not great. Despite Sportlovsvecka 8 there were surprisingly little people in the slopes, no lift queues and no crowds in the slopes. A really modern 6-chair lift in the Hamra area with both heat and cup to fall over made the ride a pleasure. More should have this in the mountains! Those who worked there were very service minded and fun to talk to.
What was negative could imagine that the area is weather-sensitive, kalfjäll which can cause awkward wind. No problem for us this time, there are hot clothes to wear. A few hundred meters to fall height would do a lot, but it's hard to fix.
Overall, this is a very good ski resort if you prioritize snow quality, offpiste opportunities, mountain feel with beautiful mountains around to rest your eyes. Returns safely.

Snowy and large ski area with lovely slopes and nice children's areas. Well-prepared cross country tracks and mountain peaks that are great for top trips.

Did the first visit to Tänndalen on New Year's Day 2018 and was pleasantly surprised. A very cozy ski resort with good slopes. At each "valley" there is a good thing with got & heat cabins and very nice staff. The sparse birch forest is also great fun to drive in. In addition, they have recently opened 6 chairlifts with wind protection and heat! Can really be recommended for families with children.

Best ski resort! Own an apartment there and work there!
