Völkl Gotama (Page 3)

Strengths:
It's the same ski as 09/10 but with better strength on the top side so that the actual pallets iron out. Have been on my approximately 14 days and they are just little hack on their places even though I'm going to Telis.

By the way, it's a cruel skiing that can cope with ice-creams as well as deeper snow. The rocker feels perfect, only requires you to cut it, so it's fine in the tough bow. They can handle high speed without problems while feeling good at lower speeds as well.

Weaknesses:
Just have 14 days of experience so far, but they have not shown any weaknesses at all, but I can imagine that at very deep snow and with a heavier rider that it does not work as well. They are after all with today's measurements "only" 106mm in the waist.

Summary:
If you have the intention of just buying a pair of skis for all types of rides, I can only recommend them!

Good buy that's worth its pesetas!

Strengths:
Floats well in the powder thanks to the rocker, good stability in higher speeds. Unbelievably smooth for its length, is witty and at the same time stable in the lice. Works well in half-timbered snow, crucified. Works fine fine in the piste, provided that you drive great slopes.

Weaknesses:
A little tricky grip and that the upper side would like to "tear" if you are not manically careful.

Summary:
Good allround rocker / offpiste skiing that works great in the piste!

Strengths:
damping
Beyond the piste
Flat span
Feeling on snow

Weaknesses:
importance

Summary:
A proficiently skilled ski that leaves nothing to be desired. Shocks bumps and puckles in a very excellent way, even better than my Head Monster 88. Floats perfectly ok, quite gentle flex (compared to previous model models of the same ski) combined with the extremely flat span gives the skid flow without the need for a mass millimeters below feet.

I use the ski as a daily ski and trip ski in combination with a duke. It's far from the easiest setup you can put on, and here you might have saved some weight. On the other hand, the ski had probably lost many of its good qualities on this, so it's good and bad.

By the way, this is one of the best skis I've been on, nothing amazing, does not offer any further play, but I always know where I have the ski and it is reliable in all bowls.

The piste handles it with praise and you can easily vary between cord and carv. The ice grip is decent but approved for a ski of this kind.

Skiing quite short, and afterwards I would probably have chosen the longer variant.

Are you looking for a ski slope to go to the whirlpools in the Alps and you do not know what the weather has to offer, voila, this is your ski run.

Strengths:
Were o 11 days in Canada this year. Test most substrates from deep cushions to hard crowds. In pillows they work really well, the problem for me at the beginning was just that it was too sharp edges, which made you go through a bit too much sometimes. But after nowadays o tree roots later, the edges were much better!
Skiing moves really well and is easy to get around the trees.
When you get a boost in the powder, they feel stubborn and there is no tendency for them to dive so to speak. Really impressed with its pillows properties actually!
In the piste they seemed beyond expectations. Did not think you could carna that really great. But as an old racing driver, I still thought they looked like a slap in the piste, though there are no quick kicks short turns, but in a little bigger turn they work really well. O is standing as a fan in the piste!

Weaknesses:
The few times I jibbed they felt a bit so heavy to get around the trick so to speak.

Summary:
Really badly skis that are warmly recommended to anyone who cushions but also want a ski that works in the piste!

Model year: 2008
Riding style: Do the most pillows, but one day in the piste / park is never wrong!
Length on the ski: 183 cm
Riders weight: 73 kg
Riders length: 178 cm

Strengths:
Got on these skis already last season and drove 6 weeks on them roughly (in fact maybe 25-30 ski days when I drove some other skis as well). Driving them with a couple of Fritschi Freeride bindings (5/5 to those bindings, quite clockwise) that create a bit of a feeling that one is standing on a plate, but the skis were still incredibly stable, which otherwise could be a problem with randonee bindings.

+ The float (For those who previously thought that it is hard with deep snow, this ski is quite clockwise, absolutely wonderful)
+ Stability (Very stable skiing in general, both inside and outside the piste feels good. No feeling that the skis will cut in a direction when you plan to stick to another)
+ Weight (Mining also for other reasons, but the weight makes the ski feel very solid and stable in uneven parts.
+ Appearance (Looks a bit depressing on this picture but the gold is doing well in the ski slope, looks like borrowing the king from the king =)

Weaknesses:
Not much to complain about quite honestly, you probably get the one you think you'll get. But despite everything:

- The weight (Working to wear around. Even a little heavy on the foot when you get past strange parties, make lappings or other forms of transport)
- The quality of the top of the skid ... the color flakes unhappy fast, just like former Gotama models. The advantage, if you want to see it, is to take a quick look at the skid as "use" and dare to stand a little more again.

Summary:
A very good skiing which is especially good outside the slopes but also works for days in the slopes. However, I would like to ride on a slight ski if I'm going to hang the piste one day, nice to relax a little more then. If you want to stand on and burn manchester, it's the clock.

Model year: 2008
Riding style: Big Mountain (Runs 3-5 weeks a year plus a season in verbier last year)

Strengths:
Easy to ride, really nice in the off-piste and surprising in the piste. Gets like the train over small puckles and spring skins

Weaknesses:
QUALITY !! Broke my layers after maybe 10 days, cracked them behind the tie when I drove on a puck in the piste. Did not get any new warranty! A month later, a friend broke his nose.

Summary:
A really nice ski slicker lighter than a narrow birch under the storm Gudrun. Too bad to move the production to China! If it were not for it, it would have a 5a
