Beech Mountain Resort

Located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, Beech Mountain Resort is known as the highest ski resort in the eastern United States. The location provides slightly cooler temperatures than the surroundings, which is an important prerequisite for winter sports in the region.

The ski area has a vertical drop of about 830.1 feet and a clear lift system with a focus on piste skiing.
