Ski resorts in Sweden
What do you think about Björnrike?

Have been skiing here for about 20 years. Mostly sports holiday (v7) but also off season. Mostly liked Björnrike at the beginning of my visit, totally charted a snap up compared to Sälen and worth every extra mile in the car. Wide and varied range of slopes, there is something for everyone. Real mountain experience, sometimes even with reindeer on the slopes. Unfortunately, the favorite slope has been turned off from and to recent years due to training for professional riders. In recent years, I think some of the charm has been lost. Björnrikecentrat's café / restaurant / pub had a lovely atmosphere that was not renovated but now seems closed until further notice. The Department of Vålkojan is closed until further notice. Skistar has put its whole concept over the resort with all that it means ....... Skiing is still ok to be Sweden in general, the genuineness is scarcely bit by bit removed and replaced by Skistar's rocky holiday resort. Hurry up here before it is too late, myself I look for what I appreciate with a Swedish ski resort .....

I have been skiing in Björnrike since I was 6 years old and still not tired (33 now 😜). The sun hours are many and the slopes are varied and beautiful! Here the whole family can go together without any problems but fits purple well for the group of friends. If you want to broaden your views, it is not far to the neighboring systems; Vemdalsskalet, Storhogna and Klövsjö - of course on the same lift card. And if the new team you are looking for is the guys in Björnrike concept store they should ask for help - world class! And don't miss the food supply! 🤤👌🏻

Large variety of riding despite only 16 slopes.
Ideal for the family of children who are tired of Sälen.

Easy to find accommodation "in the middle of the hill".

Great prices in the restaurants.

A typical Swedish ski resort. Flat slopes with anchor lifts. Suitable for beginners and families with children. Absolutely nothing you long for ...

Björnrike is one of my favorites in Sweden and I have been here numerous times. Their long and carving-friendly slopes, together with their high, measured fall height, mean that even the most difficult-skier skier can admit that it is a good lift system. Note, however, the word choice lift system, since there is not much to talk about, Björnrike cannot really be called a ski resort.

skating:
As mentioned before, the pistes get approved with rye, but unfortunately they are not so many. For those who not only want to flush the piste but also take a few turns outside, there are a lot of nice pots and forest scratches. To achieve these, however, one must often be on guard because that it can curl from sharp shark fins if it is blown, but the great thing about crow crows is that few are looking for the worst far off the piste thanks to this. however, it may as well be due to the fact that most who go to Björnrike are families with children.

Just as in the rest of Skistar's resorts, it is important to be fit for school holidays, but there is still less pressure here than in the Vemdalsskalet, so in the style of many others have been allowed to go to the Vemdalsskalet under one of the laws and are tired of queue, Björnrike is a good haven. In the same way, the shell is a good getaway if, after a few days, you start to feel that you can do what the skiing around Grizzly express and bear bear can offer.

Food / entertainment
The range of eateries cannot be complained about, they supply classic mountain restaurants, with classic mountain restaurant food at classic mountain restaurant prices, for good and bad. If you feel that skiing is mostly something you do to deserve to go for après-ski, Björnrike is not the place for you, but clearly there is après-ski and it is nothing wrong as long as you can find it ending at 19.

Definitely the best! Been there for 45 years taught me to go there myself and learned all my children go there. A place that suits many from beginners to more experienced
