Björnrike reviews (Page 5)

Björnrike offers well-groomed wide slopes, fantastic rides. There is a seat lift, otherwise it is a slip lift so after a day in Björnrike the legs can be moored. Usually not so many people on the slopes which contributes to Björmrike being my favorite ski resort in Sweden.

Björnrike still has long, wide and nice slopes. Week 9 2019, unfortunately, the lift queues also apply ... The number of beds has been expanded considerably without making the lift capacity a year.

Went here for the last three years, good long slopes with nice ground (week 5).
Good coffee and dinner with humane prices at Björnvallen.

Not much for evening skiing (half a week once a week during week 5). Just a seat lift which gets tough during a whole ski week, Tipset is to mix Vemdalsskalet, Storghogna / Klövsjö and Björnrike to get a varied week.

Before we booked the Björnrike center I tried to find out the service there. No one knew anything. What's on the website. But oh not.
A descended "paradise" as an incompetent management blinds. What an underestimation of human intelligence!
We were regulars there in the 80s and 90s.
Now I got sick before the trip and could not ride with but distant with the others who are there.

PS.jobed, among other things, once in southern Europe as a place manager in several countries for different travel agencies.

There is nothing wrong with skiing. But the service that is available is really bad. It is dead everywhere, and nothing to do for the part of the family that does not ski (babysitting children) or those who want to do something after skiing. There is also NO information on what is available, in which accommodation, for adults or children. If there is a gym, there is a sauna, there is a playroom, eg.

I was in Björnrike a dozen times in the 90's. Then it was a lively place, Björnrike center a gathering point with lovely atmospheric restaurant with good food, drinks, good après ski, and great views and great outdoor dining with sun and miles of views.

In Björnrike center, children were playing in corridors, and full of people in the lobby, the restaurant, the playroom, a sauna and a large swimming pool with a large glass wall, which meant that the parents could sit in the couches with their clothes on on the contact area and still supervise the children. There were playrooms, and there was a disco, and lots of play with leaders every night.

When we arrived here it was like coming to a ghost town. A forgotten part of the Skistar world. There was no information on where to park the car or where to put the garbage. No sauna, one cannot move from room to service without having to go out (was why we booked the center, to avoid having to dress the kids). No restaurant, no playroom, lodge people, no reception. We thought there might be more service elsewhere in Björnrike, but not. Even here, everything closes 17 and there is nothing to do after skiing, or for those who are with the children during the days. Ah, sad to see a place go from shine to nothing ...

A good and nice facility for all ages. Helpful staff and good ski school.
I was helped by a cute girl / elevator staff to brush the snow on the bell / anchor lane at Björnvallen (week seven this year).

Bjørnrike is a good skiing with variation among its 16 runs.
the yard is tall and there are long easy yews and long hard runs. The lifts are not heaven long, not even in high season, nice staff and then they always (almost at least) will have some sunny hours a day is amazing.
worth a visit for everyone.

Superfina slopes with relatively little queue. Is traveling now over New Year (28 / 12-2 / 1) and is very pleased with the skiing. DOCK saw a super big minus for aftershine and everything that belongs to it. ALL on the bear kingdom closes around 18:00, I mean ALL! Sambon and I were going to take a beer now during the New Year's Eve (note it's Friday 30/12) and everything closes anyway, 18:00, do you want to go to a little more party party? return to the vemdalskalet then apparently everything "happens there ". No little disappointed at the "festivity " but absolutely super cozy for the families of children. However, I would like to say that we are delighted with the ski department itself, but if you are in New Year, you would like to have a little more "drag". Would also say that I can not say there was so much info ang this when we booked unfortunately! Mvh Lina

Really good facility. Very nice and a good express lift. One bad thing is that it is a bit difficult to get from one side to the other side. Therefore, you need to go on a stretch of stretches or go massive lifts.
