Lovely long weekend with lots of snow on the slopes and outside!

Really good skiing! I have only been coming to Bydalen since I was really small, which has contributed to my development as a skier, due to the almost empty slopes which contributed to stress-free learning. now I'm 17 and ski at an advanced level, but still come here with the family both for piste and top touring skiing.
Given that skis haven't caught on to the system yet, the whole experience is really raw and authentic as large parts of the mountain are off-piste which offers really nice off-piste skiing.

I come from Stockholm, which means that my season is limited to only a few weeks in the mountains, but Bydalen is still my resort of choice. The only complaint is that there are no chairlifts, which means you get pretty tired from standing up all day. But I would still highly recommend Bydalen!

Always well-groomed slopes and friendly staff.

Wonderful long slopes as wide as an airfield. Can't possibly get crowded on the slopes.

The first time in Bydalsfjällen I managed to score three sunny days v.3! It did, if not raise the mood. I didn't even think about the fact that there is no chair lift, but happily took the tow lifts up the slopes.

Great to avoid Skistar and their prices, 3 days approx. SEK 800! Beautiful pistes and also beautiful off-piste. Best of all v.3 incredibly few people, no queues!!! Good food at the inn and Rest. The dream!

A hidden gem! Went here for the first time in 2021 when it was very fully booked in the mountains. What a surprise! We could go on newly piste slopes long after lunch and as easily accessible off-piste as possible. Hardly anything was up. So you do not have to stress out if it has snowed. For us who want good skiing and not so much around, this fits perfectly. I do not understand that no one else has found here.

Bydalen is a wonderful ski resort with a tradition in Jämtland's most beautiful mountain nature. There are well-groomed slopes with plenty of space and also plenty of space in the lifts. You almost get a little happy when there is a little queue at some point so you have to rest your legs between rides. Nice atmosphere in the valley with good restaurants. A plus is groomed cross-country trails free of charge both in Bydalen and the adjacent Gräftåvallen. Great skiing holiday for family and friends in peace and quiet and fantastic nature!

Fantastic skiing! Well-sloping slopes and wonderful mountain feeling. The view from the top is absolutely incredible. Can highly recommend.

Sickly good slopes. Of course there are no seat lifts but the skiing is very good. The view from the main area is magical.

Good and nice, well taken care of. And for me, it's so close.
However, I think the disadvantages lie in the park. There are no entry jumps or jumps that are appropriate or with "pop" in. then have to 40+ km / h for you to even land in a little downhill .. and then once they get down they become so damn steep that you have to carve like just that. It is not really possible to reach flow.
