Have a cabin there, and had for about 5 years. Now that you have learned the mountains outside, the ride is unbeatable. Do you know where to go, you can find the best possible off-piste, awesome pistons, and of course the park is absolutely wonderful with awesome jumps and rails. great place for allmountain riders ..

In good conditions, an open and challenging calf mountain range is offered as few or no resorts south of Åre can match. But below the tree line, the slopes are flat and the forest is dense.

Plus:
Existing lift queues.
Quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
Plenty of cannonball, exciting skiing on the calf mountain, when the conditions are nice.

Minus:
Challenging rides are missing when high zone is closed.
No chairlifts to rest feet and legs in.
Some transport stretches are a bit good, especially with young children who do not slide so well.

Keeps with Birger, a strong 4.
The valley is quite deep and narrow, not quite different from the Alps. So nature gets a 5+ i a f ;-)

We were in Bydalen for the first time v8 this year when we just got a cabin there, and we were very pleasantly surprised. The place has a real mountain feel and feels wonderfully unexplored!

Positive was:
+ the great ski system with beautiful slopes
+ little people, no lift queues
+ prices on ski passes
+ natural snow
+ good food at the inn

The negative was:
- no chairlift !!!
- missing a grocery store in Bydalen, did not even buy a newspaper but had to go to Höglekardalen or down to the hall

The absence of chairlift and grocery store makes the rating not a 5th, but it may be a strong 4th.

I'm a Gothenburg who has been in the Bydalsfjällen a dozen times since 1982 and I think it's a cannon place.
The best is the lack of liftköer, the calm atmosphere, always plenty of snow, family-friendly and long backs.
The negative that there are only seat lifts and that I experience the slopes a bit too flat.

Have been to the town hall many times, a very nice ski area that is quite big. Wants to go there a few times a year, and many I know usually go there because it's so good. Very good ski area for those who want to avoid long lifts, but still want a relatively large ski area to go in.

+ Most of the time it is natural nightingale
+ Fairly large ski area
+ Almost no lift queues
+ Near Östersund
+ The park has good jumps
+ Offpist is quite easily available
+ Cheap on Saturdays

-Blocking often on top
-No chairlift
Almost only Östersundare go here (be fun with people from other places too)

I have probably been in the city hall 7 times. I think they are the best place I've been on the ski path.
+ No queues
+ Little people
+ The slopes are fine
+ Easy to cross to Hovde
+ If you live in the mountainside, it's good to both get to and from the hill

-food places
So for me it will be 5th

Have been to Bydalsfjällen around 6 times now and we are very pleased. The best part is that it is so nice, good with snow and no lift queues. Cannon! Go there.
