I've got a cabin just at the back of the hill and I have to say that hemavan has enough Sweden's best offpiste skiing. However, less good hope and park. but shame, and do not say good people, no liftk; are you good?

I have visited Hemavan-Tärnaby a number of times in my childhood. We have lived in Hemavan.

The area is relatively snow proof, but can be cold early in the season. When I was there 1996 in early February it was a morning -44 degrees. It may be in the worst team for those who are rude. (My little brother got a bad frostbite on the cheek, among other things ..). In addition, the Dalliften strike only the possibility of riding was to be drawn behind a scooter higher up on the mountain.

Hemavan-Tärnaby's prepared areas offer no further challenging rides. Another slight negative is that the lifts tend to strike at the cold.

The biggest advantage of the facilities is that there is plenty of space both in the back and the elevator. It's quite rare you have to be annoying for a long time in the elevator queue. Opportunity for chopped offpist on Kalfjäll is for those who are not afraid of tearing a piece.

All in all, Hemavan-Tärnaby is primarily a little more distant family place. However, there are places here to discover for the slightly more adventurous skier. I have had many nice skiing days here!

Hemavan is not good if you are a good skier. Little forest skiing at Solkatten is all I had the opportunity to do, which was a little entertaining. Emphasizing a little.

The cupboard is a place many talk about, but very few seem to have seen. I have been to Hemavan 3-4gg last 2-3 years. There have never been enough weather to go there, or snow.

The only plus with Hemavan is that it is quite close to Kittelfjäll, and of course it is a better option to go there instead.

Well!
Are old ships in Hemavan and certainly it's fun with the backs here and there. but....
It's not where you go when you get there.
Take Kungs up, knock about 3 hours on the southern side of the top. Then you have a seven-mile ride down the cobweb. Do not go wrong side down well, then you can try drip on around 100 meters, it's just fun, but only once.
Straight over the cobweb from the king's seat there is a damn cool repa. A little steep in some places but quite ok.
Take care of you and if you are going to home, do not forget to send me an email and tell me how it is.
Have a good one!
Warm greetings Calle!

are very often in tern and homeavan ... they have really good training backs in the tern ... ingemarbacken and anjabacken ... =) In hemavan, there is more free-kicking in the mood ... there are more clubs that are in tern and training ... they even have faster snow in the tern so you can go early ....

Hemavan: Hemavan has quite flat slopes. The offpiste is also not the best (if you do not go hellikopter) but kungsberget can offer good offpiste if there is good snow, there are also some easy-to-reach ravines that are fun. The park in hemavan is quite good with some jumps and a rail.

Tärnaby: Tärnaby has better and steeper slopes. The offpiste in Tärnaby is also not the best but there is good and steep forest skiing. The park in Tärnaby is better than hemavans and they have a much better pipe.

Tärnaby- I was in tarnaby on course v. 10 It was good weather nice backs. A little hard in Anjabacken. I think it's better to go to tarnaby instead of Hemavan if you are going to work out.

Hemavan is for beginners a good ski resort to start skiing but can actually offer more experienced skiers in a nice time on the slopes ... In Hemavan there was a fairly good fun park with some jumps, they were quite beautiful but a little short in the landing if one would have a more advanced trick without landing on the record ... But the best of all was the offpiste ride that can be taken from the royal elevator. You go out to the "skiers right" and down to some windshields seen from the lift and the top, after climbing a little there you can go down even more to the right and then snap the skis and climb on a hanging river that's 2-3 meters high with a steep landing or if you take too much speed a flat landing, but in any case there's only snow there, it's definitely worth the trouble to get out and drop!

As for the nightlife, Stockstugan in Hemavan is the best option with a nice pub environment ...

We were there at the end of v. 10
