Hemavan was a big disappointment. Just went on a lift and not a helicopter, and then Hemavan said. A plateau in the middle of the mountain that was clean transport and sometimes uphill. No really good slopes. The offpiste we could not try because there was no good snow.
Tarnaby, on the other hand, was really good for Carving.

I'm quite sure that tärnaby hemavan is the most beautiful place on the ground .. it's good slopes so it's homeavan that's the family backs but tarnaby I can recommend that the riders are going to go because it's badly good backs ,,, that's good in both places ..

Oh, what I enjoyed with my board on my feet when I visited Hemavan-Tärnaby.
Admittedly, I liked Tärna better, more opportunities to practice trixs. But Hemavan had places with nice pillows.
Had some bad luck with the weather. (Where there was a sports permit.) The lift system was closed, so never come to the top of Hemavan to Tärna.
But highly recommended!

Hemavan / Tärnaby hardly disappoints, Tarnas, the so-called. Ingmar hill
is one of Sweden's best slalomhangs, ie. if you like to burn a little.
Offpist, yes, but as usual, always due to snowfall, but on the other hand, there is always someone who gets out of the snow.
Yes, that's the grade if I'm in Sweden, this is a 5 when it comes to pistoling.

Probably one of Sweden's best ski resorts .. I think so ... where there a few years ago and drove a little helicopter to nice tops ..... and there was loose snow sehr gut!

Was there 2001/02 early in the year and it was okay -30 degrees and not a soul in the back except me. Certainly, only the top lifts were open because the sun was still on it, but at the same time it was possible to get up. Which went much faster. The off-piste on top did not complain. Heckled with snow (untouched) and very backed by himself. But you can pay a price if you go in -30 dry eyes, cracked lips, frostbite everywhere and ice cubes. But without fat and disgusting lubrication in the face it would have been even worse.
I was there for a week, which for me is all right when it comes to Swedish mountains.

+ No people when it's cold: D but still lovely riding on top.

ice cubes are a lot of pain to thaw up.

It was probably a bit warmer at the top than in the valley. -15 - (- 20) degrees on top maybe.

Tärna is clearly king. Should you go there is Christmas and New Year's best because then it's so damn cold that no swans are daring. This applies if you love piste skiing. There are always goa people in the elevator and coffee as well as skilled skiers. You should not go there if you bump into the piste because there is plenty. The other season is also a cannon and always a little people, and I see that as a plus if you're crazy. Then it can be said that the summer skiing in Stubai is not entirely wrong.

Hemavan is a good ski resort for young and old skiers. As some already said, in Tärna, less in Hemavan burned. For those who want to try offpist but do not think they can afford Helisi or are inexperienced. Go up to King and there is an offpiste to the right and left. If you want to go a bit on their telisar, maybe the cobblestone can be something that could be a risk to the avalanche. Recommends anyone who has not tried Helisi to do this, take 3 peaks about 1500: - = experience.
Alternatives to Högis at night are Stockis, small pub with coarse tables and benches, often clearing.
Lite also queues during Easter when compared to, for example, Sälen. If anyone is more interested in this place, please email me.

Tärnaby-Hemavan should be.
Tärna is by far the home of all planes. except outside life in the evenings. But as a moored ski resort it is clearly competitive with the rest of Sweden's ski resorts. and if you're not lazy, you can not get stupid, Sweden's best off-piste areas are within reach.
Ryfjället, kobåsen, Syterskalen etc.
Only these hold the most active employed a couple of sesongs. The place is snow-well managed (lifts and slopes) and offers varied rides, it's reached for everyone! And there must be a reason why world champion is produced on a regular basis. Would probably not happen if the ride was crazy.
The rating applies if you talk about Swedish ski resorts.

Uh-oh! Have been to Hemavan 2 times, and I love the place! Fine slopes offer a lot of variety and a chance to get in the snow.
Have been going there for years too. I can warmly recommend this place!
