Kettilsås

Ski resorts in Sweden
The leisure facility Kettilsås, located 8 km south of Vetlanda, is owned and operated on a non-profit basis by the local branch of the Swedish Outdoor Association in Vetlanda. Since 1947, skiing has been a part of the resort, and through the members' interest in active outdoor life, it has developed over the years. The resort offers a cafeteria and heated shelter, as well as downhill and snowboard equipment rentals.
During the winter, skiing is arranged for both young and old at Kettilsås. A ski school is usually held during weekends week 3 and 4, and there is the opportunity to book private lessons with experienced ski instructors to improve skiing technique. The resort also offers instructors for functional skiing, and the ability to rent equipment makes it a complete place for ski activities and training.
