Aboda Klint

Aboda Klint near Högsby in Småland is a former small ski area where lift-served skiing has ended. In January 2024, the municipality decided to sell its machines and on-site equipment, since ski operations would no longer be run in the area. Older information about slopes and lifts should therefore be read as history, not as a current ski offering.

The area had three easy runs, two lifts, and a vertical drop of 131 feet. Skiing was small-scale and primarily geared toward beginners and families with children, with short hills rather than longer, continuous runs. There was also man-made snow and lighting for night skiing.

Today, activities instead revolve around a café, hiking, and a high ropes course in the nature reserve. Aboda Klint is therefore a day-trip destination, but no longer a current option for anyone looking for lift-served alpine skiing in Småland.
