Marmolada

Ski resorts in Italy
Fancy skiing even though the regular season is over? Then you can visit Marmolada, an Italian ski resort in the Dolomites, northern Italy. Named after the highest mountain in the country, Marmolada is covered by a glacier and extends a whopping 3,1125,3 feet above sea level. Maybe it's the altitude that makes the climate so optimal even well into the summer.
When you visit the Marmolada, you have the chance to make your way up to the glacier. However, you can expect hefty queue times at the gondola. But it's always worth it. Once you get to the top, 7,5 miles of long and wonderful piste awaits. Not to mention the view itself... The resort offers great altitudes and has an even spread of beginner, intermediate and expert pistes.
