Narvik, a very beautiful place!
Skiing is at least spectacular because you look right down the fjord and have Låång views of a massive mountain range from the resort. If you are lucky with the snow and it is a great place for skiing.

Note Go up to the top of the last lift and go down the back. Good ride and even better views from there ....

I live in Narvik and is often there ..
I think there are good trails with drips and strolling in the snow. I recommend that the freeraid guys should be driving from mid February and beyond. The sun is there .. welcome

Were there one evening v18 2004. The sun was shining and it was incredibly beautiful. Climbing the elevator and taking a ride down the fjord is completely indescribable. The view that meets one with the mountains of lofoten and the fjord that shines in the sunshine can be among the most beautiful to see, absolutely amazing! Must be experienced !!! Unfortunately, snow availability was poor when I was there but it is understood that there is potential within the facility. I will definitely return earlier in the season !!!

One must have been there to understand ... nothing I write can convey the feeling of 1000 altitude meters with good damn snow .... wonderfully

Narvik was unfortunately a disappointment. The mountain itself seems to be awesome! But under current conditions v. 17, we canceled our week after 4 days and went home. The weather was incredibly good, but when it's 15 degrees hot, the snow is melting fast, so next time I'll probably try to go there a month earlier. (we were there 17-22 / 4) Incredibly beautiful, but very dead. We were basically alone in the hotel. suppose there is a bit more fun during high season. Can not understand how they can be open for a long time. There are already many bar stains in the piste. But that day. Unbelievably beautiful ... Certainly a five in the right season of the season but it will be just a second when we were there. But I will go there again. Earlier!

NARVIK !! Is a bit hard now after the rain came, but the sun has come to bake (so it fixes the problem.) But what I'm saying was that you must come 23-24 April! Then it's party! With mountain rescue (650 meters above sea level) it's DA GATHERING !!!!!! KULLLLLY. So come to Narvik April 23 to April 24 !! was there at Easter last year, peak season but not an ounce of liftköer.
if you are a bit lazy like me and still want to go offpiste you definitely go to Narvik, just slip off the elevator and tilt a bit and you have a 45 degree slope and untouched.
unfortunately it was a long time since it was snowing when we were there so there was not a lot of pillows which dropped my score a snap.
we stayed at "track 1" which is a half fun hostel but it works fine (a bit far to the hill only)
It's a bit far away, but I'd rather go an hour to Narvik than to the border.

Fagernesfjelletoch Mørkholde offers unmatched opportunities. If you move on from the "link" (a radio mast your top lift goes), you will find on the left side after a good walk see Mørkholde. Here it is offered on brant offpist and lösnö in absolute class of war. How many times have we not seen so many, almost classic pictures taken here by the highly eminent photographer Jeff Web and Rune Berg?

Sum of cardamom ... Jo. If you have the roads past, stay for a day or two and try the Fagernesfjellet. Best beer after the ride, you go to Peacock, a cross street between Queen and King Street.

Amazingly beautiful surroundings (if you look out of Malmkaia in the city). Slightly snowproof and good with fall height. Some of the closest I have been "alpine" skiing in the Nordic region. A lot of good off-piste driving around the plant, and even though it gets fasted up, the new powder comes on a regular basis. Best conditions in the upper part of the plant (above the gondola). Much birch steak when you get lower.

Much fine ski mountains around town for those who have traps, telescopic bars and thermos in the sack and cove find untouched snow ...

High dot factor on the after-ski. Lots of Swedish & Finnish tourists with beeper & backplate (in case of indoor avalanche ??)

the absolute best ride in town, only my polar and some crazy extreme people there ... wonderful conditions ... boff boff boff (the sound of a snowboarder in pillows)
