Peisey Vallandry

Peisey-Vallandry are two interconnected villages located on the Les Arcs side of Paradiski, right next to the valley station of the Vanoise Express. The location makes the area a natural hub for skiers who want to move freely between Les Arcs and La Plagne.

Skiing around Peisey-Vallandry is characterized by forest terrain, smooth slopes and good snow retention conditions, which provides stable runs even during periods of poorer visibility or harsher weather. There is a clear focus on red and blue slopes, but with easy access to steeper and more alpine parts of the Les Arcs system for those looking for greater challenges.

The character of the village differs from the higher parts of Les Arcs. Peisey-Vallandry is less developed, more compact and perceived as quieter, with accommodations that often have a ski-in-ski-out location directly facing the forest. Off-piste occurs mainly in the form of forest skiing near the slopes, while more exposed terrain is reached via lifts higher up in the system.

Peisey-Vallandry is suitable for skiers who want access to the entire size of Paradiski, but prefer a smaller and more cohesive base area with a focus on skiing rather than intense village life.
